This is my idea about a new PEV mode. It’s similar to WarThunder’s defense mod, but has Enlisted’s features. There are some key features:
1.Players each can only control one soilders in game(like lone fighters mode) and they will meet 10 waves of bot enemies. Some waves include tanks.
2.Players spawn/resurrect in middle bunker(point). They can build rally point/ammo box/barriers/etc in green line area. But random artillery may destory them.
3.Enemy(bots) will attack from two of fouth directions. But players won’t know from where. They need to find them. Enemies in green line area(defense area) will decrease palyers’ victory points. If points decrease to zero, they will lose the game. Enemy tanks will decrease faster.
4.Engineer/machine gunner/sniper/etc will play their role. Like engineers build ammo box/barriers, submachine gunners get close combats, machine gunner block one street, sinpers report enemy direction in high place, AT gunners destory tanks.
5.Players can’t use tanks/planes in this mode because it’s unbalanced.
That would be sick! Play as German in Normandy (Point du hoc) or as the Americans in the battle of the bulge, defend the trench against the German counter offensive.
Russians could use the Pavlov’s 28 reference and defend Moscow!
The game doesn’t have AI using vehicles for a reason, but if players had no access to vehicles than maybe AI controlled vehicles could pose a challenge.

USA BR 1-3: Alligator Creek/Edison Ridge
USA BR 3-5: Battle of the Bulge
(Maybe an Africa option for Britain when they add it?)
Germany BR 1-3: Stalingrad (late)
Germany BR 3-5: Berlin/Normandy
(Italy can probably get some Africa maps and Italian maps when added)
Soviet Union BR 1-3: Moscow
Soviet Union BR 3-5 Stalingrad (Early)/Kursk
Japan (I don’t know many battles on the current maps which would work so any suggestions are welcome.)

Another of my crazy things, a cooperative mission against AI between Germany and the US representing what for me is the strangest combat of WW2, the battle of Itter Castle (small spoiler, a castle transformed into a hotel and later into a prison was involved , French VIPs , American and Wehrmacht troops fighting the SS a few days before the end of the war).
