IAR-81 c ➡ BR 2

image

IAR-81 C :arrow_right: BR 2

Reasoning: (When was the last time you “DIDNT” see anyone flying this?)

Comparable Aircraft at BR 2

IAR-81 C (350kg payload, 2x 20mm cannons, 2x7mm Mgs, Moderate Performance)

  • P-40 E-1 (450Kg payload, 6x50 cals, Moderate Performance)
  • P-38 G (6x M8 Rockets, 20mm cannon, 4x50 cals, High Performance)
  • A6M3 Reisen (120Kg Payload, 2x cannons, 2x7mm Mgs, Unmatched Turn fighter)

*Note A6M3 Is more of a fighter than CAS. It “can” ground strike but trades it for unmatched dogfighting ability)

This plane has a little too much going for it at BR 1, it overshadows all the other options and is widely used across multiple BRs (if not all)

Alternative

The alternative would be to Change the payload to 2x rockets\2x50\1x250. Even then this plane would probably still be BR 2 (But this plane is perhaps too beloved to change its payload at the moment)

In Conclusion. Please Consider moving the IARC-81 C to BR 2. Thanks!

No P 40 is a bad bad plane good luck dog fighting with it xD They can remove the 250 kg bomb for the soviet one but the plane itself is not BR III at all.

No, i don’t even call it a plane, that thing is a flying brick.

It has a super strong payload sure. But it is a bit of a brick IMO…I certainly dont fear it in any fighter. But maybe

Thanks, added to the list

Cheers

I posted for AP-1 and FW 190 A Series aswell

20mm guns with good ammo + 250kg bomb dont belong on a BR1 plane - let alone a fighter plane.
