I don’t really care about separating tech trees, though that would be nice in the future. For now they should focus on making it so things from 1944 aren’t fighting things from 1941 halfway around the globe.

You can’t just pick single vehicle and play, you need at least 4 squads and player could gather multiple f2p and gold weapons which have unknown BR so good luck balancing all of that. You could potentially be forced to play vs Sherman 76mm and Jumbo in your crappy Semovente and get one shotted every time by 76mm or not being able to pen Jumbo.
We can’t know what BRs we’ll get but I guess if one takes K98, MP-28, ZB-26 and Tiger II, the highest BR is Tiger II so it’s Berlin.

I haven’t seen anyone in favor of this plan actually resort to a compromise. In fact, only the devs tried to compromise with the soft rule, despite it being a weak effort, yet people in favor of the plan were still against that at first.

And how is that solely at fault for HA? It could be that you can’t select to queue for more than one campaign at the same time? Or simply the player retention is low due to it being harder and more tedious for new players to actually progress and compete without having to put money forth. An arbitrary limit to automatic weapons would help, costing more reinforcements to use, therefore being more powerful but leaving BA or Semi-autos as more prevalent.
Overall, there’s a lot of issues with the game that makes it more stressful.
Fire going through solid walls, fire setting you ablaze near instantly. You can’t really expect to win without using the meta weapons or end gear stuff.
Simply, it’s not HA at all that’s the issue. There’s just so many bugs, faulty systems, and poorly done areas in need of a revamp or just were half finished when implemented.
I mean, it’s literally a meme at this point that some bugs or some broken systems have been in for years, despite being pointed out.

I am quite sure they have datas on how many players are using “join any faction button” and I am pretty sure this wouldn’t significantly help. Otherwise they would already did this. You’ll be probably surprised, but it’s way easier to do queue for more campaign’s button than merge and complete rework of the game. But I know, you are the one with brain compared to devs.

Rereading the original reply, yea I misread it. Just normally defensive about it since people on here do consider it the reason. My apologies.
I’m not claiming i’m more aware of the data compared to the devs, but the devs are also not omnipotent in what the playerbase wants. “Join Any Faction” is different then selecting multiple campaigns. It widens the selection of maps that people may enjoy and allows to level up more than one progression tree. There are already multiple people here on the forums that play Axis across the board through multiple campaigns, so it’s not too unbelievable that it would work better. Not to mention that people would also be able to get into a Japanese or a German game if they like both. The issue is that there was no incentive to click on the “Join Any Faction” button as most people have their side they like on the campaign, or mostly because the community picks the easier side since everyone is time limited with their day and would like to enjoy themselves rather than slog through what feels like a chore.
There’s no issue with farming bots. I usually get top of the leaderboard, so it’s not a skill issue if that’s what you’re implying. It’s to encourage more BA gameplay across all fronts. I would like to use BA more without having to resort to my same cycle of Assaulter, Tank, Engineer. Or even be able to use lower tier tanks to show off any cosmetics without the fear of the team underperforming because i’m focusing more on my own entertainment than winning.
You don’t think that Federovs, Mkbs, StGs, PPsHs, FGs, etc. can kill squads way faster than BA rifles? Also, “issues” is plural, just because I used an example, does not mean that’s the only issue or solution.
Well, as far as i’m aware, it’s praised for it’s realism with vehicles, which is why it’s attracted a lot of military enthusiasts (some of whom leaked classified intel to improve the models). The gameplay in Enlisted is not too much different than other Arcade shooters.
They wouldn’t be overused if they were fixed? I mean, 2 years is a lot of time to fix a mechanic. Then again, it’s already taken 3 months to write a Q&A.
I don’t think it was a “mistake” I think they were just being lazy. Same reason why motorcycles aren’t fleshed throughout the other campaigns, why Tunisia still doesn’t have customization, and why they aren’t separating Italian and UK/Commonwealth with the launch of the next update.
I will never understand how new players, noobs, even players that have been around for a while end a game with less than 20 kills (after 20-30 mins).
I thought having the Bot fodder was one of the genius parts about enlisted. Players of all types could feel awesome because they could get alot of kills…
On topic. I was initially disappointed that Britain wouldnt have their own tech tree (in warthunder frame of mind). Buuuuuut, when actually pausing to think… I actually agree. Its kinda better having them as sub trees in one Army. Allies. Can play how you want without separating player base. I like your style
Please add Romania, Hungary, Finnss, Polish, French, Canadians, ANZACS and whatever as sub trees (eventually)
