I saw that the price for a new squad slot costs about 690-ish gold to buy due to 20% discount. It saids ‘‘open new squad slot’’ so I thought its for normal squads you get for free when playing this game.
But no, when I bought it, it said ‘‘drag in your premium squad from reserve to here’’.
It said NOTHING about premium squads being specifically reserved for the slot before I bought it.
Now I have two premium slots with only one premium squad.
Am I dumb and blind or is this legit misleading?

You truly bought a squad slot that can be used by any squad.
Slot for premium squad is something different.
Btw. you only bought a slot for one specific faction, not all of them. So you can compare it with other factions.

The slot you bought can be used for any squad. As suggested, it is faction specific. What might have happened is that your premium squad moved into the new slot, freeing up your Premium slot, giving you the impression that you now have two Premium slots.

Bruh, I see what went wrong. If the empty slot is bellow the premium squad, the slot becomes premium only.
But if I move the empty slot above the premium squad, the slot becomes available for normal squads.
Yeah, that’s essentially what happens. It isn’t very intuitive, to be fair.
As long as you’re sorted though, that’s the main thing.
