Honestly I agree with Dustdog here - I was a fellow gold order hoarder lol and never knew I would lose them. I knew the battlepass shop was disappearing but didn’t realize it was never ever coming back nor that the orders would just vanish, and at least logged in every day. I thought it was just some special event where all the weapons were available to purchase again lol before the next big update. Been playing pretty much daily since 2022. Was totally blindsided by the disappearance.
Feels like we got wrekt just for not reading close enough, which I guess is fair(?) but I don’t see why there couldn’t have been some big in-your-face notification clearly spelling it out. Like I even read the update notes n stuff I just happened to miss that pertinent detail… quite salty about it lol
I am frankly more salty to hear you lot bitch about it, despite the fact the forums were pretty much begging the devs to not remove them, yet people who clearly cared for them, ignored the issue and carried on as usual, which tbf, is their own choice, but to then have the gall to come onto said forums and bitch about them disappearing only after is a right kick in the nuts.
When i said i was “regularly visiting the forum” - then i meant every 2 or 3 months for a bit and "reading most news " - i missed the crucial one .And it’s nice for everyone who noticed it in time – but many did not. There was NO major in-game information about it that everyone who starts the game would definitely stumble upon. It was information you had to search for. Most people were probably aware that something was going to change, but not like this. Sometimes you miss things like that when they are not clearly and IMMEDIATELY VISIBLE TO EVERY PLAYER. After all, this involved PAID content that was unlocked with real money in one way or another. That’s why it’s outrageous that there was no adequate compensation. I seriously doubt that EVERYONE who plays a game also spends their limited free time after work (job, wife, kids, etc.) browsing game forums for hours and searching for clues about possible changes instead of relaxing a little. It’s an insult, and there is absolutely no sign of customer-friendliness. My decision is final: if I don’t get compensated, then after 12–13 years and, I think, a few hundred euros by now – that will be the last money Gaijin ever gets from me.
Good tbh, this game needs to set some boundaries before anyone spends more money on it.
As for the info, it was there, very fucking visibly, on all platforms of communication, and hell even in game, there was a timer on the GO store, and not once you would think, "Huh thats odd, wonder why theres a timer there, not to mention the multiple news articles that mentioned it for 6 months beforehand.
Like at some point its not on the company, you cant be expecting hand delivered mail about it.
well lots of players opposed the decision, but gaijin continued with removal of BP shop. i dont have problem with the way they informed people cause all those articles were published on launcher, so people just needed one click to read it. i have problem with them going against players and removing very popular feature of the game.
