There are alot of weapons that actually had many different types of magazines - while not widely used, different magazines did exist. This would absolutely justify some unique goodies for lower BRs.
Some examples from actual historically existing mags:
20 round Thompson mag - actually very common.
10 round FG42 mag - Fallschimjägers dropped with those loaded with their guns to not make the FGs awkward side mags stick out too much during jump.
10 round STG mags - very uncommon and basically only custom made for test ranges, however since STGs with scopes were also actually against popular belief never seen on the actual battlefield, those mags wouldn’t be all that crazy.
5 round AVT mags - seen some pictures of those, probably just some early prototypes for testing before coming up with a real functional mag, but existing nonetheless.
25 round AVT mags - dont know much about this one, seen some guy post a picture of one in this forum recently. Seems legit a good option.
100 round belts for more MGs - this is a nobrainer
10 round mags for BAR - I am still not too sure of their existence, but multiple gun nerd forums seem to know of something here. Bet one of you guys know more : )
And well, potentially many more interesting mag alternatives that could mix up the BRs a bit, we only need to dig deep into internet and look for stuff, I bet there are a lot of interesting goodies to find.
