If they play as defender , the point will be a burdensome for them since they dont have any ability to stop enemies pouring in like a tide . As a result , they will lose the point quickly so that they cant find the fun of snipe in this game and cant prove their strength and the strong perseverance to stay where they are for a whole game.
But,it will not be a trouble if they play as a faction wich has a highly chance to attack such as Pacific US Army . Problems gone since they dont need to defend the point and the annoyed greyzone will protect them from being attacked by close range weapon . They can finally realize their wish to become a talking tree , and can finally torture their teammates and enemies at the same time , what a big win . They can also have a decent KD ratio if they hide them good enough. It can be said that there is no harm in it for them except the poor win rate.
You mean camping or using real sniper squad ? I always give pistols to my snipers. Hell, half of my kills as a sniper is by pistols or meele.
Have you ever heard of the supporter bias?
It’s when you feel the game is rigged against your team.
“The football referee is always wrong when he is favor of the ennemy team. It’s wasn’t even a fault. He didn’t even touch him.”
Indeed, there never have been as much cheater, AA gun and arty spamm as in the ennemy team. Never in yours.
While in your team everybody snipes, never build rally, and is full of bots.
How strange hu…?
Sounds like OP is describing what snipers do. They are supposed to shoot at you.
I actually wanna some decent fight, every match I have I feel like enemy is playing hide and seek with me and after 20 mins boring match,I can only get few Exp, I was forced to become an AA gun user sometime since they hide themself behind the trees and bushes.
Tbh,I dont like snipers and I think it should be only 1 sniper in game at the same time. Its OK if you can do your duty and help your team to win the game but it will be really cancer if the whole team is camping and refuse to take any step forward.
its just a waste of time if most of people are camping and shooting far behind the greyzone .
I agree, i got sometime the same feeling in the pacific. Hard to know where the ennemy are while you are in the middle of the objective. In the pacific objective are too big. (Exemple: burn house, aligator creek,1st obj)
So you figure out how to beat the “campers”. It’s a combined arms game. If your frontal mass assault went splat, find another way.
Also the AI,they will shoot at you and kill you from some incredible locations such as shoot behind the wall and the bush where you cant even see them . I can imagine how bad it will be if they have a plan to release Vietnam War.
I like these terms like incredible locations! do you have screenshots?
It depends on many factors. Sure, a team full of snipers is gonna lose the battle, and a team without snipers has a greater chance to win the battle. Yet a competent team with a competent sniper is gonna win faster. Snipers are support and they are only as good as the rest of the team.
I just get used to it but I have sth more incridible
Snipers, Tanks, Artillery, Engineers are all support. They all have jobs. You keep on sub machine gunning to your hearts desire.
True, but wen we find camper (sniper or not) wo stay at the first cap zone even if the enemy already capture here and are assault the third one, a bit pissed we become
Entire Map should be playable to both sides. No safe or protected zones. No untouchable tanks or snipers. Snipers are a fact of war so get used to it. Pacific Maps allow for flanking, and adds a dimension to the game, you can be shot in the arse. The enemy can come at you from anywhere.
Pacific Campaigns are one hell of an improvement to this game.
Started talking like Yoda, have you?
agree, devils, they def. lessened the grey zone and are learning.
I play as a sniper, sometimes only as sniper with 3 squads of snipers. I also play as assault but all my teams have a sniper fitted with a scoped SA.
@ Devils, yeah I think we all want lots of room to flank, less grey zones. Good points there.
