look at this smexy engineer with his fantastic jaw line and his handsomeness who wouldn’t want this guy in his squad.
To be an engineer = to be a volunteer.
if you care about winning, you shouldn’t even think it twice.
if you can’t be bothered, then don’t do it.
although you might face consequences.
Winning is good, but when everyone is playing to win.
When I’m the only one playing to win, then it’s bad.
Although fighter pilots are much more volunteer work.
I’m usually the only engineer on the team…
Have one in every squad, first in squad, as someone else mentioned, love to play a combat engineer, i be lost with out a engineer, to do useful stuff, esp, if i join a server far from Australia, can sit back building and be useful, at least, to be effective at killing, with high ping/latency, is a challenge, on some servers lol most,
Don’t forget to vote for a SE ASIA server, in relevant post’s
99% of players play to win you are not the only one in that regard. The comprehension on how to win a match is just different.
Would be the same as a player better than you or me tells us we dont play to win because we do not do X or Y.
Players need a better tutorial or a big fat red button in their screen flashing “No rally point down” and if they build one they get a pat on the back.
Rally points, rally points, rally points. I cannot stress this enough.
Engineers can build rally points which are essential to your team’s victory. Even if the buildings you build don’t yield much experience, they will help you get more experience through higher win%. It really baffels me why ppl won’t prioritize making rally points, since it’s the most important thing you can do to affect the outcome of the match.
BUT! I think you should get more xp from building rally points and ammo boxes.
And about that “engineer points” column on the score sheet… Isn’t that the amount of stuff you built?

And when your rally point dies build another one!
No - it is the number of “uses” - including when you use it yourself - so taking ammo from a ammo box, spawning on your rally point, etc
Well I think it’s actually number of stuff you built plus number of uses. These two numbers are written separately in each soldier’s report after the battle.
