Because this grind to finish the campaign is probably the worst one i have done yet. It gets alittle better with the mod.39, but overall the experience stinks. countless times im either playing by myself on a BOT team or 1-2 players against 4-5 on allied. I really hope there will be something worth it in the end. because it stinks!
that is more playerbase issue than gear issue
from what i hear other people talking(dont play much tunisia myself) gear is in general well balanced but almost noone is playing tunisia axis
Still, a boring campaign right now.
No Italian gear right now does anything better or unique a German gear or toy do. And 3 or 4 models of a Thompson isn’t worth my time fighting for.
Meh, imo, just imo the maps are dull and boring, I was expecting some desert action like in cod2 campaign maps or what ever… Right now it’s kinda dull to fight for a few houses over and over on some over saturated desert colours that hurt my eyes Alot.
I finished the allied campaign and working on axis right now. Hopefully the will add some better maps and new stuff for axis. I’m hoping at least a stug for axis.
to be a better campaign:
-accurate uniforms
-differents and new maps
-new factions: french, new zeland…
We need new toys not some copy-pasta. The whole campaign needs to be redone.
I hope they put better maps in truth; like fighting in mines or traversing a line of trenches, things like he did call of duty 2, not to mention that his uniforms were very stylish.
and in terms of weapons the axis should touch weapons such as:
_la fg42
_la mg34
_lamg42
_la berretam38 (40 rounds)
_the panther
_the tiger
_the panzerschreck
Its so weird that they can have 26 levels and maybe 3 of them are actually interesting
Tunisia axis peaks once you get the armaguerra. After that there is not a single unlock worth the time it takes to grind through the campaign
The smg’s are all the same. both the thompsons and the beretta/mp40.
The mg’s either suck ass or are present in other campaigns.
No one flies in tunisia. And for good reason.
6 fighters, none of them with ground attack capabilities. R-2 pulled straight from moscow. And the SBD is ok i guess
All of the semi autos. Except from the armaguerra. Are pulled directly from other campaigns
The only interesting thing i can think of is the bolt action rifles. And you stop using those rather early
I’m just grinding holding out hope they will give axis better toys in later level. Like they did with axis in normandy
They are most likely going to add a tiger to tunisia, so if you are into that the grind might be worth it.
But even if they add the tiger it still wont be enough for me to grind through 15 more levels of nothing
If you are talking about equipment for the axis to recover in Tunisia then you made some mistakes:
Fg42 entered service in 44 not 42
Panther was only in Europe
the fg42 entered service in 1943, the panther thing may be right

fg42 didn’t see any action in africa, only in europe again with their first trail by fire being the rescuing of spaghetti man in 44
The biggest problem are very one sided matches. Engineer and rally points are crucial gameplay element yet somebody clever put it to level 9 which is damn far. The games where there is no engineer on one side combined with generally bigger and more open maps means that you have no chance with no rally points.
And even if you have end campaign player on your side it often turns they prefer farming kills than helping the team.
The guy 1st on our list had full semi-auto and late game equipment yet he though that building a rally would be good idea when we were down to 150 tickets, when he did that we finally balanced enemy rally and captured the first objective. But it was damn too late. Grinding to level 9 is really bad since you go from defeat to defeat gaining much less XP. Tank balance is bad and also early SMG, since MP28 with 20 mag is decent but you simply cannot clear a room when there are more than 2-3 people. I often die while reloading.
Also this match I destroyed 2 more tanks but was not credited for them. I set them on fire crew bailed out, tank blew up and I got nothing except for suiciding TNT runner. And when the A13 were too aggressive I spawned a tank only to ran into grant in the first encounter…
Okay, I did know that, since it was a weapon created for the German paratroopers, but I mean that it can enter the Tunisian campaign in order to give a “balance” to the army of the axis
I agree with you, I don’t know who would have been the genius who came up with placing the engineers at level 9, to top it off the maps are large which makes the absence of engineers even more conspicuous.
As an lmg yes but not as a standard troop weapon , since that only creates more imbalance such as Normandy and in Berlin

the regular FG 42 doesnt break the balance in berlin since the AVS is actually somewhat comparable (in contrast to garand/carbines)
Imo all automatic weapons for troopers break the ballance. Devs created soldier clases to limit weapons, especially automatic ones, that’s what I thought. But then suddenly they made the whole class system irrelevant by giving full auto weapons to everybody.
i agree regular troopers shouldnt have access to full auto weapons. but it would still be balanced from a faction vs faction perspective if both have them, which they do in berlin.
no faction has full auto guns for troopers > both factions have > only one of the factions have
