If it’s a bug, the fact that they left it like this and STILL haven’t addressed it is kind of negligent. I don’t think it’s a bug but rather they just haven’t properly done these things yet.
Mortars should be unable to set up in the gray zone. It sucks getting close to where you can hear them so you rush into the zone only to get killed by the zone as if you were playing PUBG or some other battle royale.

Mortars should be able to be spotted from Air with all the firing they do, they should be generating tons of smoke and visual indicators.
Camping in gray zone should get you banned or something…
I agree I have played enlisted before and the entire game was boarderline unplayable because it was nothing but shaking and random bombs going off from beginning to end.
