The Bazooka is a crappy anti-tank weapon, it’s much worse than the Panzerfaust
They performed poorly against Tiger II
But the performance against APC is even worse. Many times I shot at APC many times and they were unscathed. It seems that the bazooka’s ammunition penetrated the APC.
Why doesn’t the US military have Panzerfaust? I would rather throw the bazooka in the trash in exchange for a Panzerfaust60, even the Panzerfaust60 is better than the M9 bazooka
well, it kinda depends how you use it.
for example, on APCs, they tend to overpen and not deal too much damage. ( if you try frontally, or on the engine block )
recommendations usually are, aim for the top ( of any APCs ) or from the sides.
as it goes for the tiger II, only the m9 is capable of destroying it from the side, or the back of the turret.
If you hate them so much, just don’t use them. Problem solved.
Yes I use TNT more than bazooka
Need to use HE shells, the infantry rocket launchers don’t have enough explosive mass to trigger overpressure, so that’s why APC’s seem tanky
Yes, but I think the M9 bazooka will be more difficult to deal with the sdkfz, it has a 75mm cannon and a machine gun
If you expose yourself to the front, you will die.
Shooting sideways always over-penetrated for no apparent reason. These rounds even passed through the body of the vehicle occupants without causing any damage. I tried shooting the turret, but it also over-penetrated.
The mobility of sdkfz is a bit too good. I saw it spinning in circles like a top, like Overwatch’s Reaper ability.
Tried the Sd.Kfz. 251/9, I was impressed with its maneuverability
If I’m not mistaken, you can destroy an APC by just shooting it long enough with smgs.
At least that’s what I managed to do yesterday. I was spraying a group of soldiers who had just left the APC. And because I was pretty far away, a lot of bullets missed them and hit the APC.
Suddenly, it appeared that I had destroyed the APC with conders.
it could be that the guy spawn a new apc tho since if anything hit apc and you spawn a new one it will pop up in the kill feed

I doubt it, since the APC just parked there. And playing two APC squads in one lineup makes almost no sense at the moment.
well i didnt mean like 2 apc in a line up i meant like spawning that apc squad again like how it would normally explode your old apc if you spawn it again

It’s pretty ridiculous overall, since whatever I tried to do didn’t work out at all. xD And since I was already pretty tired, my reflexes were really bad.

Same thing with the lunge mine, the M13 SPAA is impervious to it from almost every angle.
Lunge mines are currently very broken, don’t use them until they’re fixed
they nerfed bazookas in pre merge times for balance but didnt change their pen states to real life pen power after the merge, idk why maybe devs totally forgot about it
I think this is more an issue with APC than Bazooka.
Many empty light vehicles are very sturdy against anti tank weapons. Anti tank weapons can easily penetrate them of course, but they cannot cause an explosion because these paper cars hardly equipped any shells.
A similar thing will happen on tanks like 38 (t), their armor was very thin, but it was difficult to destroy them in 1 shot using at weapons, simply because they were equipped with garbage shells. You better kill all of their crew or destroy them with explosives.
APCs are just scuffed. Currently they do not have much that will actually kill them, so it’s almost impossible to easily blow them up with handheld AT.
You can easily destroy them with EPs. I have 100% successful rate.
And since they’re nearly always just 50m away from objective, you really do not need anything else.
