I guess deleted quotes arent a bug but intended?

When responding to a post with a quote the forum seams to automiticaly delete the quote if you are directly under the quoted post automaticaly. (Or it was just the case for me)

Even if they might sound redundent the quotes still help directing everyone as to where you are responding to which might not always be 100% clear otherewise if the topic gets crowded with article discussions.

Is it possible to revise this feature in any way? or is it set in stone in its current itteration?

If you’re replying to somebody and are posting “the quote” into your response;
When submitting your reply, sometimes you can literally watch the quote disappear from the message (moments later).

When this happens, all you have to do is click the “edit button”, for your response, and then go back to the original quote, and paste it back into your original message.

You second attempt will usually work, and the quote will remain for people to see (and refer to).

I hope that answers your question.
Not sure why this bug (or mechanic exists within the forum)…
But that’s your loop-hole, to get around the issue of “deleted quotes”

It is a discourse Site bug, as I have seen in other forums that use this same site

As a solution, dont quote the whole post but leave a letter out, the quote fail only wen you quote everything

As example

I dint quoted the last (?)
