I enjoy playing games

So, Holiday is over, how did you all spend your time?
I spent most of my time on Enlisted.
And once again, I found that this game is very fun.
I was pissed off by the bugs that never get fixed, the lax game balance, the harsh grind, the allies that never move from the spawn point, the newbies who fly starter aircraft with BR5 and neglect their Tiger tanks, and so on, but even the adrenaline that spurts out is enough to make me forget about time.
In my opinion, the merge was a success.
Even now, the unbalanced matching has not been solved, but I was able to participate in good matches after several rounds of matching.
No matter which camp you are playing in, you can play a balanced match every few matches.
I have not encountered any long term unplayable situations like sometime Tunisiaaxis or Berlinalies.
I’ve played numerous FPS games, including Battlefield and Call of Duty, but there may be almost no other multiplayer game that I’ve been as hooked on as this game.
Even after I finish the game, I find myself wanting to play again, remembering the feeling of flying in a P-51 or shooting at distant enemies who look like peas in a pod with a bolt action.
How about you, do you enjoy the game?

Personally, I agree that the merge was a success as a whole.

Im not always at the top of the score board anymore, even on my most casual games. Which is good because it means people are actually in the match.

I’ve been having a good time going through all of my squads and updating their perks under the new system, which lets you play how you want with more freedom to select and gives more reason to try and roll for perfect stats.

I like the concept of the tech tree, it just needs to be refined more which is more of an over time thing. Once they buff out the rough edges and make it less confusing, people should see this as being much better than unlocking the same thing 3 times in the old system.

APCs have been a great addition. Vehicle slots in general are always filled, creating an active and engaging battle field. I have more reason to run AT squads, AA guns, fighters because of this.

Overall, I’ve been having a good time. The only other games that I’ve been cycling thru has been league of legends and dark and darker.

I totally agree. There are still some minor things that need to be fixed, but I am happy with the current state of the game and look forward to the future of the game.

I was talking about this with a friend of mine, also an Enlisted player. Merging has solved so many problems. Previously, a good part of the matches were lost or won due to the absence or incompetence of teammates or opponents. Today there are very few steamrolls and even with the Soviets who had become Berlin unplayable, now there are good games.

Personally I’m not enjoying it since the merge. Before the update I enjoyed picking any campaign that took my fancy on any given night. I don’t have that anymore. I haven’t played one game in Tunisia since we swapped over, and I used to have fun in there. So on that front I have played much less on here and I believe that the change over has killed it for me

Yes, that fun has been lost.
I used to like to pick and choose campaigns based on my mood of the day, but such functionality has been lost.
But considering the crisis the game was in, I think the merge was inevitable.
And at the time when you could choose a campaign, there were already practically unplayable factions. Soviets in Berlin, etc.

There is also a newly added feature, you can choose any BR.
I can choose the intensity of the battle according to my mood of the day, if I want to play with bolt action, I can be satisfied with playing low BR.
And by choosing BR, you can choose the map to some extent, although there is a large degree of randomness.
With the US faction you can play in Tunisia or the Pacific at low BR.
Right now I have created BR2 and BR5 setups for the US, Germany, and USSR respectively and choose the setup I want to play with that day, which is quite fun.
Also, not a common way to have fun, but when I want to play any campaign, I play against bot opponents in custom matches.
I like war movies and when I watch a movie, I want to go to the battlefield associated with that movie.
The other day, after watching “The Thin Red Line,” I had a sudden urge to play on the Pacific map, so I played all the maps in the Pacific in a custom match.
Playing against bots is not the best way to earn XP and silver, as they are reduced to 20%, but I like it because I can digest my Battle Pass and it is a really relaxing way to play.

If in the future Enlisted can have as large a player base as WT, I would like to see the system of choosing campaigns revived.
Or a custom match mode where you can experience the historical battles that Devs promised before.
Whatever it is, I hope Enlisted grows as a better game in the future and has more game modes to satisfy everyone!

I don’t enjoy Enlisted that much. Me and Enlisted has a love and hate relationship. But i learn to not care when dealing with matches i definetly can’t win. So i play the game at my own pace, which often time i don’t play the objective. that’s how i enjoy the game mostly

I think that the merge was overall a success.
But many glaring issues are yet to be addressed not to mention all the promises they are very late with.
Seriously, where is our premium squad slot?

SexyTent I am doing that now, also. I find you get a much slower game, and not so easily destroyed by the enemy and become demoralized :+1:

Hear, hear.

I think the merge was necessary, but i can’t tell if it is a “success”, i don’t see many advances, and i see many new “old bugs”, i have reached my limit for things that happened on 2021 and today are still not fixed. I wouldn’t be playing if it wasn’t for the event, and even with the event my game time has gone half or less.
