The maps could be very interesting like it could be on Iwo Jima. It would be different from the other campaigns since it would be dense jungle. You would see new weapons, or for the axis at least. Anyways, this was just an idea I randomly had and I would like to know what the community thought of it. I also understand that a there will probably only have to 4 campaigns and the dev team don’t have any plans on adding more.

Of course, there were many diverse and interesting battles in the Second World War,but have you thought about online?
I would also like to see the defeat of the Kwantung army, the defeat of the French army, Stalingrad.
But this all requires too much online.

Well they have an SBD dive bomber in Tunisia, not sure if that ever was there, could be a pacific placeholder?

You took the thought straight out of my mind. The Pacific Theater adds loads of different options for Enlisted:
GUADALCANAL - steaming jungles, cool flowing streams, grassy hilltops, maybe even some Navy gunboat action?
PELELIU - hotly defended beach landing in DUKs, the fight for the airfield against Ha Go tanks, the crazy Umurbrogol coral Mountain range.
BATTLE FOR MANILA - the toughest urban battle of the Pacific Theater
IWO JIMA - black volcanic beach sand landing, fighting up Mount Suribachi, capturing mortar pits, and of course - CAVES.
OKINAWA - Shuri Castle, mutually supporting bunker systems galore, flame throwing tanks!!
Plus, the Pacific Theater affords Japanese weapons and vehicles.
I’ve given the DEVs plenty of options there… go for it team!!!

I think it’s safest to say that of all the options available, the Pacific campaign is the most realistic. However, I personally think that a new, separate fifth campaign will definitely not see day light any time soon. Full work with existing ones at the moment.
I made a thread a while back about potential balance stuff for a pacific campaign, hopefully the devs use some of the ideas in there
i do hope they just add Pacific war as one campaign as in 1941-1945. not separate one (like Iwo Jima campaign and Okinawa campaign separated).

Hopefully when the pacific is implemented it includes the fact there was 4 other allied nations fighting there…
A New Guinea Campaign could see the majority represented.

I would love to see a battle in Manila or Okinawa but for sure I think that a Pacific theater campaign would be really awesome but only if it was only one.
If Gaijin add more and more campaings and levels like it did on War Thunder, eventually it will loose players cuz we can’t spend that much time leveling up all the campaigns plus the match-making queue will be slower.
I would love that to happen because we somehow already have 2 eastern front maps and not pacific maps, would love to see it.

Singapore Campaign
Burma Campaign
Guadalcanal campaign
Iwo Jima
If we get pacific campaigns then we need one where the Axis were initially winning like in Singapore or Burma and another where it was towards the end of the war like Iwo Jima or Guadalcanal
