I dont like the constant sound of jets - it removes the ww2 feeling we should shuffle BRs to make BR5 a post war/prototype setting

!! warning !! controversial topic - pls read before making a comment.

balance aside, I just think there are too many jets flying around, the constant sound of those makes me lose my WW2 vibes.

why not separate BR5 completely from the other BRs? we could go wild with BR5 then, by adding all the stuff people wanna get added like T44 100, IS3, US T29, Jets, AK prototypes, Panther II, SKS, Sterling and all those pieces of warfare that just didnt make it into WW2.

Might as well go crazy and add Jagdtiger and some crazy rivals that might existed … like T95 or some other messed up madness.

…but I would then definitely want to have some iconic WW2 gear be lowered into BR4.

-Leave Tiger II H in this prototype BR its OP anyways, but lower Tiger II P, without Tiger II H the allies wont need a Pershing. IS 2 can already move to BR4 then.

-all those prototype AKs and other prototype assault rifles should simply move into the prototype/post war BR, while STG should get its HA rate of fire of 500 which should make them already easily not OP in BR4.

-FG42 II can move into that post war BR, but first version FG42 can be turned into a MG class gun (dmg nerf of 13.2 and together with its HA rate of fire of 900) and then be moved into BR4.

-AVS can also move into BR4 - together with a damage nerf to 13.2 dmg.
no one hit kills + poor 15 round mags will already make AVS be be a candidate for BR4, while staying a trooper weapon.

-AVT can get a 20 round mag and be moved into the post war BR.

-T20 also obviously should move out of the last full WW2 BR.

Now, if this would be done, then also some current BR4 weapons and vehicles would require some shifting, like putting some more currently mediocre BR4 semi autos into BR3, but in a general sense, I think this is the logical next step to take.

quite some people want more cool stuff to be added, this is the only way, but also quite some people want the game to stay authentic to WW2, so separating BR4 and post war BR5 would be only logical.

Also since that new BR5 would go already full crazy with gear, might as well make BR5 fight on ALL maps.

actually, personally I would do something more bold and shift all BRs again to be only total 4 BRs and then make them ±0…

so to speak so we could have:

BR1: early war tanks(Panzer III, BT7, Stuard, Crustader etc) bolt actions, poor MGs, poor SMGs

BR2: mid war tanks(Panzer IV, T34, Sherman) semi auto, good MGs, good SMGs.

BR3: late war tanks(Tiger, Panther, IS2, Sherman76, Jumbo) real war assault rifles, very strong SMGs

and then BR4 being post war/prototypes. But that is two suggestions in one I guess…

what about event rewards like the xa-38 being BR3 but was never in the war? They haven’t said anything about moving its battle rating or would event rewards get an exception?

Well, we have a lot of weapons in low BRs that were never used in wwii, like the Winchester 1886 in BR1, which I don’t think even saw action in WW1. There are also some weird things in low BR, like the VG 1-5 in Moscow.

So do we move the 76 sherman also into post war as the ME 262 is actually older than the M1 gun used for the tank?

no that was just hypothetical, how it would look like if we completely removed BR5

also pls

i think there should be some exceptions, but jets specifically make the entire battlefield sound like the Iraq war.

Agreed. I like your suggestions.

Jets should NEVER have been added.

Unless they want to make the Korean War which I would welcome.

Best case scenario is actually consider the rest of WWII (mind blown) like pre 1943.

But instead the stupid playerbase has ruined Enlisted opting for this weird prototype fairyland of BR V Wot If World War Two had continued into 1946 crap.

This and revamp of cosmetics. Crazy that we can have FG but can’t have it’s magazine pouch.

it does sound off, but it actually is true that a couple of jets were actually used in WW2, so its actually less crazy than full squads with FG42.

German Jets did fly some successful missions in the last 6 months of the war or so…

still, there are jets in every BR5 match - which includes even Stalingrad

Well the normandy invasion fleet was beeing scouted by an AR 234, which is a jet bomber. So by the time the allies invaded jets 100% where a thing.
It always gives me a chuckle when people say jets did not exist in WW2.

well tbh majority of playberase never opted in for anything. devs just put loads of weapons without thought about balance and then later compensated with prototypes cause of their initial fuckups.

jets on other hand really came as a surprise that nobody expected.

well to be fair some of the jets ingame did not exist in ww2 (aka su9) or were prototypes that flew just at the end of war(kikka)

The player base had no say in this. The Su 9 was chosen by the devs without consulting the playerbase.
I never have seen the SU 9 beeing requested by the playerbase on the forum so this is 100% the devs.

fully agree with that one. BR V should be a standalone

It is better to make a BR VI that is EXCLUSIVELY with Experimental Armament that did not see Combat in WW2 And leave in BR V the Authentic and Heavy Armament in the game like a Me 262, Jagdtiger, Tiger 2H etc.

BR should take more things in consideration, like year of service or what year produced or intended production/service.
And also take into consideration role, what type of weapon vehicles and compare them amongst same category type.

Agreed.

Make BR5/BR6 full fantasy land with ±0 BR MM and make BR4 the top BR for actual WW2 stuff.

Jets were used in WW2

And only the Me 262 and the Ar 234 saw combat, the Meteor and the P-80 did not.And even less so when they didn’t see combat against any German fighter.
