I just don’t like lone fighters. It’s not fun. It feels like a bad knock off of Hell Let Loose. I think the reason why Enlisted is fun with all these realistic elements is because of the bots. They allow people to get a kill more often and feel like they’re doing better than they actually are and I like that. So I ask a question, why do some people like lone fighters?

Lone Fighters has not been a problem for me, but i hate how i kept getting only 1-3 kills and getting backstabbed so much in a single match because of how noobish i was…
I prefer Squad mode since i rather enjoy a much more Casual/Hardcore Kill and killing more than in Lone Fighter, I don’t go for Competitive
I prefer squads because there’s more action and more soldiers around, also if you get sniped by a camper you have a chance to get him because you might know where it came from, instead of going back to the spawn point.
Also, when more hackers will pop up they will probably go on lone fighters to piss more people off.
I haven’t even played it, and never will. It’s not what Enlisted is all about, and frankly I’m not sure why it even exists. If you want that kind of experience, existing games are already doing it.

Lone Fighters is:
- Tactical
- Pro-Play
- More teamwork needed
- Competitive
- True PC game mode
Squad mode is:
- Total mess
- Clueless roaming players/bots
- Android/Console game mode
- …

Its not the mode itself, i like lone fighters. But its not the main takeaway for this game. if you only come here for lone fighters, there are games like HLL, Rising storm 2, Red Orchestra, etc. if you dont like the bots. Squad is more favorable imo since its all out chaotic warfare.

Honestly a lot of the more competitive player base is into lone fighters. I personally prefer squad mode because there are better competitive shooters out there. But for people who want a semi realistic ww2 shooter thats against other players or they don’t have a lot of money, lone fighters is probably the best option for them.
Lone fighters is for cheaters and scum. Be happy it’s there to be the septic tank of shitty players.
Not sure why some people here seem so hateful over an extra game mode tbh, its an option so its not like its interfering with squads. I personally play both because as tactical as squads feel actually having teammates and enemies who at least act conscious is always nice, squads is great fun too but the bot AI needs less artificial and more intelligence if you know what i mean.
Because we are getting more than a few folks requesting sweeping changes to the game, based on their experience in Lone Fighters, which isn’t the primary mode of play.
I don’t even want to play Lone fighters. It is just another FPS and frankly there are much better games for that.
What makes enlisted interesting to me is the SQUAD play. It allows for a much more large scale of game with more flexibility, design opportunities, balancing capabilities, with less barrier of entry. The AI doesn’t even have to be good… They are mainly there to increase the chaos and represent a poor player, not gun down players en masse and be the hero.
It’s just a completely new type of meta and very exciting to see. Man, if WWIIOnline would have took this squad approach… It would have been insane.

I find it weird but some people just do like generic FPS experience on maps that aren´t even suited for the mode. It needs to be admitted, that AI is still something that requires a lot of work, but squads are one of the main features of Enlisted. I personaly believe that investing time into lone fighters is wasting precious development time on something that exists in most common FPS games. But lonefighters seems to be populated enough so it will definitely be staying with us.
While I play lonefighters when I´m forced to, I also never noticed more cooperation from teammates that was mentioned in the thread which makes invasion mode pure pain to play. It is not so bad in conquest that is just typical FPS experience.
