It is getting downright embarrassing. I am terrible at competitive video games, and competition, in general. I am LEADING teams while playing bullet magnet while the next guy below me has ONE QUARTER MY SCORE. Something has got to be done to improve matchmaking. It’s like ramming my head against a brick wall and I am sick of it. I don’t want to have the highest score on the team. I have the patience of a sugared-up three year old and the tactical mind of a honey badger. My strategic ability rates somewhere below amoeba. I should not be the top player on a team.

What I often do is abandon my weak team on the ground and just hop in a plane. At least I need no teamate up there.

My K/D in every CoD is negative
Star Wars Battlefront II and Enlisted are the only games I’m good at. Weirdly enough they also only have one thing in common, and that makes me feel bad about my skillset as a gamer. But, I already know I’m a mediocre gamer anyways so it’s whatever

All you must remember is what Enlisted is at it’s very core, and it’s purpose:
- A game. For you to have fun.
Those who think it’s only a competition are in the wrong. The guy who may or may not be bad at the game, but enjoys every minute of his time, is the real winner here.

I can say I enjoyed your post.
Having flexibility in faction and high/low BR can alleviate this until things are (hopefully) improved.
I resort to the same fallback Joe mentioned. If it’s completely clear that it’s hopeless I often jump to a plane to just chill and have some fun. I will try hard for the entire game for most matches but if it’s 99% clear that it’s a dumpster fire then I go into self protection mode.

maybe in the future we will have better matching of players in terms of their skills, I don’t want the game to become skill-based, but playing against total beginners or casual players with stupid AI at the forefront becomes boring over time.
Imagine if you had to tell the whole world you had a bad day playing games. 
Enlisted protip, to have fun its not about winning - its about making the enemy team hate their life. Once you play a lot of games, you will start knowing they are unwinnable or near-unwinnable from the start
ex. Your team full of console players,
or every kill from enemy team has a gold marker with it(stacked team).
Then you will know not to tryhard(unless you really believe in your noob team and try to win - but knowing its unlikely you dont get mad when you lose).
Most games if i sweat I can get 100-150 kills but winning depends on your team. Attacking on invasion is the easiest to win ‘alone’, defense with bad team is near impossible.
