I was aware of “TIER”, or squad I/II long time ago.
At early days, this game only has 18~26 levels. So same type of squad only repeat 2 times. Infantry II for me was OK to grind again.
But now. 4 out of 5 campaign has reached >30 levels.
Many squads/roles have reached Tier 3.
What’s more not acceptable.
Later squad’s tech tree requires massive amount of XP to level ups.
Moscow’s Attacker III, level 1 itself required nearly 20k to level up!
Dont forget at LV1, you have NO Squad XP bonus. So XP is 1:1 to the campaign levels!!! Let alone only the XP you gained from this particular squad count! Leveling up a squad to LV10 itself equal to near a whole 180k campaign level. Dont forget the higher squad levels are, the more expensive each level cost.
Only some squads, especially tank squads (and engineer II), that attract me to level them up (also Tank squads itself are much easier to level up than many infantry squads)
For Rifleman, sniper, bomber, gunner, mortarman, rider, etc. Especially those squads has less important weapons (most of them dont have), why dont I just use tier 1 soldiers?
Especially I have left plenty of soldiers with lots of retraining point that I need 0 grind for a good perk.
Also,
the non sense more expensive price for higher tier soldiers…
Making Tier 1 soldiers more sensible to keep them.
These slight statistics from tier 1 to 3 wont effect game much at all… Also after concluding so many data, I am bored of those tweaks.
Squad icons? Tier logo? Who care. (Many of them even dont know the difference, only get confused by this)
Also I saw leaks of up to Tier 5 icon. Just insane.
Either player or dev is mad…
