HP for tanks

Hi,
I feel that tanks should also have hp. Because I sometimes shot time like 10 times with AP rounds all penetrating (cross hair green), But still the enemy tank fires back. (bcoz my 10 shots only killed 2 crew members). It kinda feels odd bcoz in real life by that many shots, the tank would be put to dust long before.
So I think you could add some hp to the tank, and each shot if it penetrates will decrease some hp. Obviously bigger tanks have more hp and bigger projectile deals more damage. The tank will explode if all crew members are dead, or ammo got cooked up or hp reached zero, which ever is sooner.

Tanks DO have hp. But they are not shared across all the tank, each internal module has its own hp pool. Hence why by shooting over and over the same spot you wonā€™t deal any further damage after some point.

Besides, the damage model is taken from War Thunder, so tanks ā€œdieā€ when the CREW is dead. Otherwise, anything can be repaired, unless the tank burns completely.

Therefore, in order to ā€œkillā€ a tank, you either kill all the crew individually, or hit the tank in an ammo rack (causing an internal explosion that kills the crew), or blow up the tank with TNT / bomb (killing the crew) - the result is always the same, if the crew dies, so does the tank.

Depends.

If you leave the tank with the crew and the crew died outside, the tank will eventually survive as long as no one penetrate it (although I believe it will explode after a while if no one replaced the former crew/ enter the tank)

iā€™m not a huge fan of it.

because you would make this game more arcady than somewhat already is.

so itā€™s a no from me as well.

Turning the game EVEN more arcade is a big no. You can go play wold of tanks, they have such mechanics.

I would say that damage model of vehicles is one of the mian features of the game.
But well, we had people that wanted to remove the main feature of the game (bots) so I shouldnā€™t be surprised.

I can confirm this, abandoned tanks do end up with spontaneous combustion.

I loved H&G for itā€™s silly moments.
Iā€™m not much into cod though, last one I considered good was modern warfare 1 waay backā€¦

the only cods iā€™ve ever played was Bo3 zombies mode, both modes for ww2 zombies and MP, bo4 zombies and mostly play CW zombies as well as warzone fun fact in warzone is that i have a german ww2 line up with mg34 and kar98k
