Gentlemen, I am here to speak the truth of howitzer supremacy. Howitzer, the king of short range HE slinging. Dual purpose? AT? Nah. Gimme that infantry support gun on my armor. I’m here to commit war crimes and clean objective, and I’ve already finished the Geneva Checklist. Clearly, the SPH is the superior armored platform for Enlisted. Objective full of enemy combatants? Not for long with a well placed HE shot right at em. Light enemy armor giving your men problems? Blow it sky high with overpressure. Some partisan filth trying to spawn camp your team or place some TNT on you? Hit the wall next to you and watch their innards quickly become outtards

There are some things that should not exist, imagine a Panther with a stubby gun. That stuff looks horrible…

It’s perfectly average! Some may even say too big
That mantlet is some 200-300mm thick by the way. To counterbalance the weight and recoil of that 105. I’d LOVE to see something try and lolpen that sucker
Now as for the Panther with a stubby, well lucky you the German design process was a bit different and the Panther retained its long 75 all its life. The US however! Now we LOVED taking chassis and turrets of tanks and either strapping to or shoving inside a big ol gun for either AT or infantry support
