i don’t wanna play warthunder

reduce speed below 60, aim upwards, put flaps on ā€œcombatā€ or slow down fast with ā€œlandingā€. Watch your speed with the flaps because they can get ripped off with too much speed and air resistance when not in normal ā€œupā€ flap setting.
BUT! if doing hard turns or pulling up after diving, put flaps in ā€œcombatā€.

Reduce speed to under 300 when diving and pull up before reaching 400+ or bye bye flaps.

Also keep altitude at least 500 before attacking ground.
If I’m strafing with rockets in a more diagonal approach, I reduce speed to 20-30 and start aiming down at around 1200-1400 ft from target. But if dive bombing, I try to reduce speed to almost 0 and drop down at 1100-1000 from target from a altitude of at least 600.

Stuka had air brakes not sure if it still does, I remember it said brakes on UI, but don’t see it anymore. You should never slow down too much, you lose energy (lift and speed) and easy target.

If enlisted planes acted anywhere near war thunders flight models I’d probably actually enjoy planes but currently it’s like flying a bus with spaghetti launchers

They seem to be Warthundery too me!

what are you playing on (controller or mouse/keyboard) and what are your settings? ex: Mouse pointer, Joystick, direct?

I have played both war thunder on controller and keyboard and mouse and enlisted on both, every plane feels sluggish and hard to control

May require some adjustments in the ā€œcontrolsā€ and ā€˜plane’ tab section.
Tried screwing with the values of the dead zones and non linearities?
Put it on ā€œdirectā€ mode to make it like ā€˜sim mode’ on Warthunder. Full control but can easily stall.

I usually take a tank instead, a lot more utility like continually clearing points that i can’t directly see or directly destroying tanks, also faster to stack bodies with less effort but then i normally play axis so i get terrible cas

Go on warthunder, select ā€œrealisticā€ and take a plane and compare.
You will see.

War thunder realistic and enlisted ā€œrealisticā€ aren’t comparable
Having played 99.9% of my time in war thunder in realistic and having checked the enlisted settings twice, there is no alternative control scheme that makes the aircraft fly like they do in war thunder, it’s just straight up worse, i honestly don’t know how your publisher has a longstanding tank and aircraft game yet enlisted does vehicles so awfully
