How to solve body armor problem

It’s better to just remove the cuirasses than to leave them it these ridiculous effects or just as cosmetics.

Just make it a cosmetic gang, makes life easier for everyone.

Remove.

Well they should still keep it in the game just it doesn’t affect the game. It’ll just be a cosmetic.

No. Remove.

Hear me out, remove it from soviets and give it to the Germans for the same amount of time the Soviets had it so they feel our suffering. And then remove it, but only have the body armor work in matches against USSR, that way US players don’t get punished

Give me a filter that turns off the display of this disgrace. And continue messing around with any bullshit.

Huh?

Didn’t they use the breastplates in Stalingrad? Has the CoH2 Soviet Campaign lied to me???

This is far from the biggest lie of COH2.

However, as far as I remember, breastplates were used in Stalingrad.

Oh yes, naturally, the Commisars were models of martial honour, and the Soviets definetly did not betray their Polish friends. Pure pro-Axis propaganda.

On a more serious note, I of course do not take video games as a source for historical knowledge.

But I thought the Soviets did deploy breastplates in significant numbers 1942 onwards, including some turning up in Stalingrad.

Idiotic exaggeration and hyperbolization. Not including the actual lies. Stalin, Beria, gulag, commissar, execution, betrayal, burning villages, repeat. Any phenomenon can be turned into a hopeless blackness if you put together its picture from the its darkest parts. I just find COH 2 disgusting. Pointless and angry. At least it’s possible to laugh at the ridiculous film Enemy at the gates and other similar garbage, unlike this work.

I am definitely not an expert on body armor.

However my previous research mostly showed 1943 and onwards use and definitely in limited numbers.

I’m not an expert either, so I could be missremembering the year of introduction.

I know more about the British MRC Body Armour, despite there being way less information about them.

Two best ways to solve the body armor issues in Enlisted.

1: Get rid of it
2: Offer it to “ALL” factions. It’s f**king ridiculous that “ONLY ONE” faction has it.

I mean, body armor as a concept was introduced around 2500 BC by Sumerians, then the Ancient world, Medieval times, Napoleonic wars, WW1…

If we go by the rule “if it existed before 1945, it should be available”, then every single soldier of all 4 factions should have Tsarist, Kaiser, Emperor and Founding fathers armor.

This exact Soviet breastplate design started development in 1939, but reportedly started being used in very limited numbers by assault engineers from mid-1943.

(с) Let’s start from afar.

Well, lets not be hasty here.

I just want campaign appropriate cosmetics, body armour should definetly not be in the Moscow campaign that’s all I know for certain (I’ve seen talk of a “experimental 1939 breastplate”, no pictures though, but best case scenario that’s a unique premium/event soldiers cosmetic not something you get to dish out to every soldier on the field).

Same way for the Brits, I only want the MRC in Normandy and the Bulge as the only two late war European campaigns in game, where it was soley used (no Tunisia, no Pacific, just 1944 Europe onwards and nothign else).

And I want no statistics being applied by cosmetics too, of course, just the option to give such armour to soldiers I deem appropriate (mostly Engineers when it comes to the Brits), don’t want my men all looking like TMNTs…

During the campaigns, breastplates in Moscow were only available to one premium squad.
