You must first go to the commander seat. It’s one of the 1-5 number buttons, idk which one tho because I always only use gunner view

And changing soldier is the same yes
changing soldier by default is “Y”. You can also use this to quickly swap soldiers after you die, but your squad is not dead.
Currently - unplayable P2W for me.
I want my own MP41/MG30 squads nerfed. They are not fun to play with - too easy.
Easy to get kills
If I want easy mode, I will play Warframe, and bully AI enemies there.
I am not interested in bullying actual players.
The thing I am interested in is an immersive WW2 shooting experience where skill is the deciding factor in whether you live or die. Not who has the bigger wallet.

Rather than changing seats, it’s faster to cycle between squadmates.
I’ve barely scraped the surface of Post Scriptum. My impression is the guns and vehicles feel really really good apart from the simpler damage model on tanks. Tank guns especially feel a lot more realistic though I’ve of course never actually used a WWII tank.
I can spend hours on the training range alone, but the real game doesn’t stack up.
