I didn’t try to force you to do anything - paranoid much??
paranoid? no tired of cry babies nerf this nerf that
I never said to nerf anything either…
“What is frustrating it’s not when you loose a game but give everything, it’s when you loose while you could have win if only one extra player actually played the objective. Where is everybody? People think it’s kind of Saving Private Ryan game where you have to walk 100m crouching while in fact you need to hold Sprint everytime.” - HeyQuadro last Normandy stream.
“Fuck the new player. Fuck the balance. […] You dont’t win games with weapons or tanks or planes, you win games with objectives.”-Upolaf
I’m just not the hero.
the fucking irony of this fuckimg message coming from you…
it’s very funny your pure hate against fg42 and then write things like that.
you just want to see this game burn along side @Upolaf .
have some fucking rationality and common sense for the love of god.
no one is gonna play this game if we look at your " way of balance things ".
both of you just gaved up, you both just stopped of even trying.
I vote this with my both hands and both legs.
Balancing things by changing stats, in most cases is lazy and causes idiotic situations. Like no zoom on MG nests or rof restriction of semi auto rifles. (Meanwhile other guns can zoom and can fire rapidly in semi auto mode.)
Or in HnG. Looking at the fact that my MG34 or Thompson is cheaper than a inf OHk-modified bolt action rifle (which is why I hope we will NEVER face (inf) modifications for Enlisted).
Yes and no.
No mostly cause this would require jams imo to make drums etc. less useful… and many people wouldn’t like jams though this imo would make rifles more popular besides the rng. Also it would mean we have to remove certain stuff and people would get mad about (I wouldnt miss the Jumbo, ZH, T-50 or the allrounder sf auto rifles though).
Yes, because its getting fantasy here with the way how DF treats guns and gun types, both from a historical and game advertisement standpoint.
But rn I would honestly prefer a fix of the economy and the prem squads. Balance issues exists but people overstate here and pretend it is the reason why they suffer while the recent Axis win rates in Africa shows the opposite despite “muh MP28 and Semo”.
Yeah… it would be really a great and immersive thing to add, I personally would LOVE it… But like you said, the majority wouldn’t want that, sadly they could start by simpler things such as restricting automatics spam, by preventing smg/lmg squad cycling AND restricting SF rifles togheter.
You know what? The jamming feature actually was in game but people conplained about it and got removed.
I thought it was funny because they only had it on bolt actions
Opinions were split (I’d say evenly but I may be biased). Some wanted them removed, some wanted them to be extended (as jams occured only on BA rifles) and used to balance auto and semi auto guns.
Which was so rare most people didnt even notice.
Jams on… ba rifles?! Now that’s a strange concept, it almost never happens for the simple fact there’s no simpler mechanism than bolt action… I might understand now why people were reticent about it, especially if magazine using firearms didn’t…
Well, it was more of a longer reload than a proper jam. Soldier was struggling with stucked stripperclip. (Gamebraking I know.)
I guess it was only on one type of weapon because they were testing it. But I have no clue why they’ve chosen BA rifles.
They most certainly can jam. Mud/snow/sand can make feeding (they still use a magazine its just internal) and chamber almost impossible, ejectors can be packed with dirt where they no longer eject. There are many myths around bolt actions and one is that they dont malfunction
But compared to drums, smgs and machine guns (especially if you do not burst with them but just press and forget) and shooting with a MG without magazin while moving?
Oh absolutely those jam more. Im simply saying that bolt actions can and do jam
While we are at it, shameless selfpromotion strikes again.
Yay for aggressive marketing!
Yes I mean, like anything. But I expressed myself poorly and wanted to say I found it odd a reliable mechanism gets prone to jamming while semis and automatics did not
I loved the RO1 reload animation of ba rifles. The soldier was visibly struggling to reload his clip and sometimes even cussed. THAT was realistic and immersive, unlike some artificial rof nerfs…
