How to make Moscow (and any other campaign) more balanced with 4 small gameplay changes

Introduction

Everyone has heard this: “Soviets have PPDs and PPSh while poor germans suffer with their MP40, thats why we need MKb 42 in Moscow” But there is such a thing as LMG (MG34), which can delete large groups of enemies at midrange. But in game LMGs don’t have penetration (It will be fixed soon, right?) and accuracy.

Suggestion 1: decrease LMGs dispersion to 0.02
Then we have another problem - other guns still as inaccurate as toy blasters.

Suggestion 2: decrease dispersion of all guns to next values:
Rifles - 0.008, snipers - 0.005
Carbines, Semi-autos - ~0.01
LMGs - ~0.02
Assault rifles - ~0.04
SMGs - ~0.07
Shotguns - ~0.2 (heavy damage loss at distance)
Pistols - ~0.2 (they don’t have stock)

Then we have another problem - MGnner can run faster than a riflemen if he equips knife, drinks flask and has speed perk.

Suggestion 3 & 4 - weight system & sprint
First of all - we have lots of inaccurate weight numbers:
Knife - 0.5 kg (I’d suggest 200g)
Pouches don’t have weight (I’d suggest 500g)
Most gun types have one approximate value for all guns of one type
SMGs (even PPD) - 4.0 kg
Rifles (even short carbines) - 5.0 kg (M38 Mosin weight is 3.4kg btw)
LMGs (even MG34) - 10kg
Another thing is hammer - hammer itself weights 500g, but I’d suggest adding some materials weight and giving players choose from 3 variants:
small amount (5kg) - builds only rallies and ammo boxes
normal amount (10kg) - builds all basic structures
big amount (20kg) - builds LMGs, HMGs, AA, AT guns

Now suggestion itself:
Because flask completely destroys stamina bar I’d suggest making run (shift) infinite (you’ll see, where stamina is used in a sec).
Here is simple graph of running speed depending on equipment weight:
image
Key dots - (2; 16), (10; 12), (50, 7)

But 7 kmph need soldiers need some last chance mechanic to escape fire, so my suggestion is to add 5sec (stamina) sprint (double-shift) to all equipment (not for bayonets and swords only)
In sprint soldier has some inertia, holds his current equipment with one hand and require some time to start shooting (0.7 sec, depends on gun equipping speed), start running/sprinting again (1.5 sec)
Stamina for full sprint recharges for 10 sec (stam reg perk - 60% faster, flask - 40% faster)
Sprint time (stamina) can be increased with (max stam perk - +60%, flask - +20%)
Graph of sprint speed, depending on equipment weight:

Key values - (2; 24), (42; 14)

Yeah. The games are determined by the speed. If your team has capability to clear cap points ~twice faster then opposite team then you have rather clear advantage.

Mkb42, could have balanced out the so called “mid” range if the opposite team lacked similar AR style weapon.
But obviously they dont, instead they have better AR style weapon for said range so the so called mid-range goes yet again to opposite team.

There was time when LMG’s were functioning much like AR’s and LMG’s were actually useful back then.
Alot of salty tears were shed and now we have the current LMG’s that are absolute dogshit.

Sure, bipods are almost fixed already. “It will be fixed soon” doesnt really help the moscow as the “soon” part have now favored the other faction for 2 years.

Dispersion shouldnt even exist in first place. NO ONE asked for it.
And no, its not good way to “balance” anything.

Only thing they should have fiddled with was recoil nothing else.

And what comes to mile long weight rant.
Its one of those factors that effectively ruined the LMG’s.
Not only did the LMG’s become rather useless but you move like snail with it.

Can you pls read suggestion till the end, and compare values I suggest to one in the game?

Yeah, dispersion ? No.
Trying to balance things out with weight ? Yeah that worked out really well for LMG’s
( Ofc we currently have everything else as well plaguing them )

So you prefer current dispersion, which is 10 times higher, then I suggest?

So, mgnners, having oneshot lasgun should also have speed of Sonic? Where is balance?

All sniper rifles manufactures are idiots. Who needs expensive sniper rifle, when they can install sniper scope on their pistol with enough elevation marks

F**k different calibers, 9mm with recoil of MG is cool.

Ofc mggner with HEAVY DEADLY gun moving faster than all other players is absolutely balanced.

Had you ever heard word “roles” in terms of videogame? Had you ever played any TEAM OBJECTIVE game, not QUAKE Arena?

I dont recall enlisted having scoped pistols.
Also enlisted has this funny thing, damage decrease on range so I dont think the scoped pistol would be very useful.
Also the bullet drop but yeah.

Im quite sure we currently have less recoil in 9mm class than in machine guns.
Kiraly is somewhat on the border with its recoil and I dont think even that is bad. They should just increase other smg’s recoil as well.

Quite sure they dont move, idk why as most people can carry 10-20kg while running.
But lets conveniently forget the LMG’s are only “deadly” when bipoded which makes them a static target.
Which is by far easiest target for majority of players.

Sure, unfortunately in this game certain roles are literally useless.

Very often, and thank god this isnt one of those games that requires insane coordination to win objective.

Dispersion is retard and you must be very lucky to find excellent place with good sights and terrain aim to mount, considering the fact that mounting mechanics are f… d in this game and %80 of lmgs are useless since high calibre. Only reason to play with lmg squad is just heavy mgs building. Unless they are useless beyond 50 meters.

Exactly.

rather have this extreme recoil

than the random dispersion.

I think the weight discussion deserves its own topic. It could be a major game changer.

I would have to disagree. I have pretty decent luck even at the 80m range when i find a good brace location. Plus, the larger Caliber ones can be switched to semi-auto and do just fine. Treat them like a semi-auto with a larger mag.

If I’d try to create weight suggestion separate from LMG problem, most of the comments would be like: “Why are you trying to nerf MGnners even more?”, but I’ll try.

Because thats purpose of an MG.

If you are dependend on luck, your gun is shit.

I dont need luck
This is not a gambling simulator its a ww2 fps game.
I need proper functioning weapons .
And trying to run and gun with 15 kilogram fricking lmg is while i already can use proper semi autos isnt the best way to fight. I guarantee bcs i tried it and it sucks
