Devs said battle of bulge but map’s name is hürtgen forest. Well it doesnt matter because map doesnt resemble neither of two anyway. Its just moscow rip off
This is how you do a good hürtgenwald or ardennes map. Both forest were dense and dark.
Its suprising that they fairly recreated woods at seelow highs but hürtgen map look really bad.
Oh and i hope weather will be rainy or at least gloomy. Most fights occured during fall of 1944
Yeah, hurtgen forest map was pretty disappointing. It doesn’t even looks like classic european forest. It looks more like Sunland from post apo Ponyworld than actual Hurtgen forest.
Very lame, I am sad now.
This map is really closer to the actual situation. Dark and scary forest sections with valleys, mg nests, bunkers (like on the Buhlert), trenches. Or sections with treetops destroyed by artillery and the ground littered with shell holes. A map with the Kall Trail would be really great. This lies between the Buhlert and the Ochsenkopf. This is where the gates to hell opened.
Not all of the dead soldiers have yet been found. The last one was found in 2000. An allied soldier. His mortal remains were brought home (Wisconsin/USA).
