How to make Enlisted a more immersive game without doing practically anything

Currently, in Enlisted, we have the minimalist mode and the option to remove the entire HUD from the screen. While this experience is quite immersive, it has some limitations in terms of customization. I suggest improvements to customizing the game interface to meet individual player preferences. Currently, there are elements on the screen that some players may find necessary or would like to modify.

One of the customization options that could be useful is the ability to turn off the minimap or at least reduce its size. Some players may find that the minimap takes up too much screen space and prefer to have a wider view of the playing field.

Similarly, allowing players to disable or adjust the size of the battle chat would be beneficial. Some players may prefer to focus entirely on combat and find battle chat distracting.

Also, it would be interesting to include ammo display options. For example, a dedicated key could be added to display the amount of ammo remaining in the magazine, allowing players to be more aware of their ammo without having to look elsewhere on the screen. You could also consider showing the amount of ammo only when shooting, which would provide relevant information at the right time.

Currently in minimalist mode or when you remove the player’s hud you cannot see in any way the ammo you are carrying:

Another suggestion would allow team reinforcements to be visible when pressing the tab to view player scores.

I would much prefer if the game used a magazine system and I REALLY wish it had suppression from MG fire.

I wish we had suppression from MG fire, but they’d have to rework MG’s entirely to make that work.

right now you can have like a squad of entirely MG’s.

shouldn’t work like that; you’d never be able to keep a MG-34 nevermind a MG-42 fed like that.

there should be “assistant gunners” who are carrying ammo, not for their rifle but for the machinegun, along with spare barrels and maybe even the tripod or bipod, with an AI good enough that they can set it up in a spot and then disassemble it, and then pick parts up when one dies.

Yeah I agree there needs to be a limit to how many MGs you can have in a squad.
