Otherwise if you have missed, stay in circling hell hoping that Meteor will lose speed faster than you die since once jets lost their speed, they are slow to gain it back (you will die 9 out of 10 times against Meteor).

fly low, circle just above the tree line. Then when you see it flying above you, jump at it from the bottom

Usually your best bet is to take advantage of your (usually) better turn time, if you stay on his behind and he tries to keep turning too, just stay on him and he’ll bleed speed quick. If they’re smart and they try to take to the clouds your best bet is dive down yourself and gain speed, stay 100 metres and under from the ground and make sure you keep an eye on them as much as you can.
So long as you stay low even if they try to strike you from a sharp angle from above the need to be careful otherwise they won’t survive due to needing to pull up. One of your best bets in this instance is to fly up sharply into where they’re angling back downwards to try and find you, then you uppercut their jet.
Even if you keep harrassing them like this you’ll keep em busy and off the objective and if they attempt to bomb the point they’ll have to drop down to your altitude then you can blast em.
More often than not after dropping their bombs, they’ll usually turn sharp towards the right or left. Then depending on where they do, attempt to cut them off with a sharp turn corresponding to the direction they’ve taken.
Whether they try to climb up from here or turn elsewhere the speed they’ll bleed will usually get them killed here.
If they instead try to climb straight back up into the air instead of turning, this is where I recommend that when you’re making the approach from behind them, you start building some altitude angling between 10⁰-30⁰, you won’t bleed much speed at all (dependant on plane) and you’ll climb a bit, allowing you to give some chase just after they drop their bombs and bleed speed in the turn upwards into the climb.
Also when making super sharp turns don’t forget you can drop your throttle a bit and drop your flaps as low as you need and as much as your plane can handle without ripping them off, too bleed speed extra fast wiggle your rudder around in a small spiral with the throttle down.
That’s some advice from my experience that I can give from my time fighting jets in biplanes and Jets too.
