How to have a better time ingame?

I’ve just started playing this game about a week and a half ago and it’s a great game, though a bit grindy, but it’s a F2P game, so, that’s expected. I just unlocked some more BR II weapons for the Allies and I finally wanted to test them out. Shotguns and M1 Carbines for Engineers, M1’s for Riflemen and Owen’s for Assaulters. Puts me in BR I - BR III lobbies…and not to be mean, but man, people REFUSE to play the objectives. I’ve had 5 matches today and all were losses. I’m a mediocre player at best, so when I finish in the first place, I know something’s up. Is this an Allies issue? Should I play another faction? I’m playing from EU, by the way. Thanks!

Welcome to the community!

Allies do get a tough ride in the early BR matches, but other players will say the same about any other faction except Japan.

Your best bet is to keep your squads BRI for now, use the time to upgrade your squads and weapons within that tier. Save up some silver so you can equip a more fleshed out BRII lineup in the future. Just having one or two BRII weapons in your lineup will make it much harder when up-tiered into a BRIII match. If you keep a complete BRI lineup, you’ll only ever be up-tiered to BRII, which is far more manageable.

As you said, it’s F2P, so the grind is real. Keep going though!

Also when you get the engineers BUILD RAILY POINTS, they’ll help the team win.

Yeah, unlocking the Engineer squad is a must. Even if it’s just so you can add Engies to your existing squads.

Dropping rallies and ammo for your team is key to winning matches. It’s unfortunate that a lot of people ignore their abilities, but I think that’s more down to the fact that they’re not a squad you can immediately unlock. You have to grind the tech-tree to get them, unlike snipers and medics.

Truth be told I sometimes forget to build ammo crates and railys too

That’s HERESY!!

Welcome to Enlisted. You will get used to it. Sometimes you can force a a game along by yourself through rallies/APCs and alot of killing/destroying rallies. Momentum Momentum Momentum…

Other times not a chance (or maybe sick of trying)… You will just have to let go and find your own fun alot of the time. When a games going no where, just mess around with something for fun…

Recently I made a Sniper with a silenced Nagant (hard to use) and put all the perks into climping and jumping just to be really annoying in bad games lol…

I’ve been playing about three years, and for the most part play either Allies, Germans or Soviets. Allies I rarely win at level two, and lately have been able to win more then I lose at level’s one and three. Soviets lately I have been winning probably 70% vs the Germans, and with the Germans usually I win 70% of the time, however the past month I have been losing far more with the Germans then winning. It kind of goes in cycles as people jump around from faction to faction, but you’re correct, for some reason people playing Allies seem to me to be the worse at objectives, but this happens with all factions as well at times.

I would love to see competitive matches at Allies level two because I have a very good lineup, but I hate to play it because my team is usually steamrolled, so for the most part, don’t ever play BR2 Allies anymore.

It’s present in almost all online FPS games. COD, BF, HLL, Squad, CS, etc., etc. There are always people who don’t play to the objective.
And it’s not even just FPS games; just look at WarThunder.

The only way is through games without experience or games that only reward victory or defeat and not personal actions.
