How to free look without turning plane

Not a suggestion but I have a serious question. In console I have it set to where I can free look with my right thumb stick so long as I hold down left on d-pad and whenever I try to look around, the plane will yaw or pitch in that direction. It makes it very difficult to look around and check my surroundings while flying.

I have changed the basic stock controls to pointer aim because it was absolutely terrible trying to fly with the basic controls.

Any pointers or tips would be greatly appreciated!

I am on console, I have an Xbox controller. I assume the PC settings are different in many regards. Maybe I see players on YouTube who are PC players who free look with no issue. :thinking:

If you’re using controller and you want to use look around option in planes use your right bumper because that’s not too important for flying
