How to destroy the KV-1 in Stalingrad?

As in the title, the only thing that sometimes works for me is placing the TNT pack on the rear of the turret when it’s facing forward - then it can set the engine on fire.
The GrB 39 can pierce only its rear turret armor, but from my experience doing it that way is waaay too long: kill one crew member in about two shot, then another, and another, then wait for the driver or radiooperator to come into the turret and kill them one by one as well.

Or underneath, or on the engine deck, or the long 75mm gun anywhere on the turret front r side is they aren’t angled, or hull side if not angled, or even the 50mm from the side…

Tnt detonation pack above driver hatch on the hull.

Works every time. It’s the kv1 nemexis.

Climb on the tank, place a tnt detonation pack above the hatch on the driver side (front right) and detonate it.

One is alway more than enough to kill one.

Nah jump on back of KV1 on engine rack and boom watch then burn!

Thanks, I’ve managed to do this in battle and it indeed works. It’s a bit tricky to get on the tanks hull from the direction where it looks, but if you manage to do so, it’s quite easy.

Oh yeah. But one it’s always enough to destroy it.

And they never expect it.

A good kv1, is a destroyed kv1.

Best way deal unrealistic kv1 is desert game. those were not there, and they were destroyed by single tnt in history
