How to change the focus of the game from kill hoarding to capturing objectives

i dont have engineers in any squads ect the flame thrower, engineer and mortar squad, and since i blast past those squads i dont use them long
rally points are meta so my adhd kicks in and gos “fuck off”, meta features are bad features

For those that are saying “players don’t communicate”, “there is no teamwork”, etc, I disagree.

That MAY be the case on PC, but at least HALF of the games on CONSOLE ONLY has players attempting to work together. All they need is initial Push.
(This can be the usage of smoke shells from a tank, a trench that has been dug, putting an ammo box near a MG nest so that players can find it because for some reason they aren’t marked!)

Better callouts and communication would be a welcome addition, especially if they added dynamic callouts according to what they are looking at.
Such as the difference of “take cover at these sandbags” vs “destroy these sandbags”.

@119540637 I like your ideas except for reducing the point gain from standalone kills.
Here’s the reason why:

IF you decrease the point gain from kills, people will focus more on that then the fact you can get more by using teamwork and strategy.

However, IF you keep the kill score the same, but make the other methods of gain have HIGHER SCORE than it, then people will begin to see that just because they have a ton of kills doesn’t mean they are automatically at the top of the board anymore. It’s not because “they got nerfed”, but because the incentive and payout is simply higher for working as a team and playing strategically.

Additionally, I would like to add a bit that may be an unpopular opinion to some but I think it needs to be said nonetheless:

You mentioned longer capture times, and I absolutely agree. However, I think that tanks should act as a multiplier of sorts, since they cannot capture objectives themselves.

They increase the “capture force” by 50% of the troops on the objective. So if there were 10 soldiers on the objective, having a tank there would make it as if there were 15 troops on it.

The tank gets 3 points assist per capture tick for each teammate on the point.

Ultimately this would mean that it would be in the infantry’s best interest to help cover their tank, and vice versa.

At this point, and ONLY this point, would I then agree to the ability to break down tank remains.
Though it would still require more than just 1 engineer to break them down, but that is another discussion.

good post - but not playing this game any longer one game they had flame throwers bomber attilery we had rifles and and art they got all the positions in 10 mins -

their running mods 1 prick just systematically wiped squad after squad out hitting spawn points =
had a smg which never run outa ammo wtf is that aways Americans - assholes

but tthe worse I of allis the tanks - he shells fired at them does nothing short range long range it may take a few out but nah I’m done with it

This game is meant to pander to the allies wet dream of murdering buckets of Nazis And we’re yet to even find a 100 round MG for the Germans while all the allies have probably crossed it or have a variant of that.

So low level Germans get massacred by the dozen but when you reach end game there’s only anything decent but with the allies they have plenty of toys of mass murder

How one-side mains can still complain against other nations without realising that every single faction (except maybe Japan) has got at least a handful of incredibly OP stuff, is appalling.

Here comes the next one-side main explaining why there’s a ton of imbalance because weapon A can be used by squad B but not C, there’s a one level difference between vehicles X and Y, and worst of all weapon Z does 0.1 less damage per shot at 300m.

The Larp is real.
And its just event/ gold gun.

Pretty sure the M1919A6 has 100rnd and Soviet Post war RD44 has 100rnd, also both are unlockable in the progression

it’s only easy if the attackers are bots or newbies.
when the attackers are experienced, they don’t even give the defenders time to organize themselves.

can out run sniper tanks fire and Artilley runs and fires - and multi kill never runsout of ammo has a thomposn mf tell me how does a sgt get a thomp cos he paid for it –

one man lobs grenade kills entire sqaud - defending reguadless of barb wire sand bags

and another thing tank infantry don’t support tankers hence why they balset by dymatite every game cos
