One of the bigger problems with the game, is that people only focus on kill hoarding because thats what gets the exp to level up.
I’ve seen a lot of games where most of the actual players aren’t ever capturing zones but are on the front edge of the gray zone because they can get all the kills there for themselves.
Some potential fixes I have though of: ( the “/” sybols don’t mean division in the examples)
Decrease the score for standalone kills from 30 to 25
(For some balance for some of my other suggestions)
(I will use 25 in some of the examples)
Increase the score and exp gained from doing the objective
(Currently we get 150 score from a full capture, increase it to around 500 / 750)
Increase the time for capturing objectives by a lot
(To make longer games, and balance the score gained for capturing)
Increase the score and exp gained for kills in the objective
(From the original 30+15 to 25+25)
Increase the amount of score and exp gotten from assists inside the objective
(From 15 to 20 / 25)
Give the players extra score and exp for kills from inside the objective
(What I mean by this: Player who gets the kill is inside the objective but the person who is getting killed isn’t. For this im thinking of around a 25+5 / 10 score increase)
Give the players more score for other players using a rally point, depending how close it is to the objective
(For example:
- rally point used 100 meters from obj: 35+5 score.
- rally point used 50 meters from obj: 35+ 15 / 25 score)
This would make players more focused on the acutal aim of the game and people would build more rally points.
This may be a bit controversial and I didn’t acknowledge the conquest gamemode in this suggestion.
i don’t know how many games i quit because it was clear the team was not playing to win but score, a lot of good ideas but maybe some perks, if you control and are defending the point while sitting inside it, ammo, or health regen not a ton but enough to encourage it over spam of art shell, bombs, rockets and tank he spam of the game, the trouble is being on point makes you a target, play world of warship and you see players run in the opposite direction of the capture points
Increase the size of objectives.
I won’t play the objective if my whole squad will be wiped out by one grenade/bomb/tank shell. It’s a suicide and it’s not fun.
Killing inf + objective is usually most profitable way as inf. Sniping is too situational and mortars… bwahahaha… yeah sure…
If people dont get it, their problem at this point. More xp wont help at this point.
Bigger score is cool if You need top scoreboard for daily tasks and all, but xp is barely related to score anyway.
Biggest impact on xp is 1.5 battle hero and 1.5 victory multiplyer, because it’s more than doubling xp.
So it’s better to lose faster on unwinnable matches - if goal is xp.
On winnable matches 1.5 battle hero is biggest boost, so people camp in tanks as it’s easiest way to get those.
Only like 10-20% of games in Enlisted are balanced for both teams to compete for victory. Even not looking at PvE Tunisia allies, it’s clear why marshall stars are gone from scoreboard.
No point in fighting losing battle (from xp point of view, which in gaijin games is players mindset)
No point in trying so hard in auto win battles.
Balanced matches are too rare to even talk about balancing the game
Well at this point from seeing the conversation I think the entire criteria of XP needs to be reworked and not to be so focused around killing and more teamplay and winning the match as a team not as one man army
Let me tell you that I had the first place on the team more than once even having about half the kills of the second place just because majority of my kills were inside the objective.
one sided aimbot users who make it to gen tanks which even using he cant kill enemy soldier with direct hit mg fire is useless over heats sub machienguns with unlimited ammo- their running mods they never run out ammo but can kill an entre squad -anti cheat is non existent
spawn areas attacked u attacked theirs the game kills you as ya not behind your lines
every us team has flame ati tank and artilley engineers bazooka teams its need to stop the imbalance where top tiers players just join a game to gain 100s of kills
