It could work same as commander cupolas, you would turn either to gun or MG.
yup more mg on ha-go would do only good
halftrack is its nemesis though
with HE shells it might kill haltrack crew more easily nevertheless any tank above m3 stuart would insta kill ha-go or ke-ni
but i dont expect any chsnges since even semovette tank in tunis never received any other shells even when prople asked for them, instead it received smoke shells
It can, through mechingunner mg on hull. I do it nearly everytime .
Maybe tanks will finally get ammo customisation with new progression, at least imo it would make sence to do that, as they are most likely gonna add more tanks to tree’s.
My suggestions definitely won’t make HA GO better than any of the other tanks, this isn’t about making HA GO a better tank, but one that isn’t absolute dogshit to use and make it actually possible to get kills
yes, i know, but it can’t elsewhere besides the lucky cupola shot and the turret ring. which is why i said it can’t pen ‘too well’
if the ammo was stored evenly between the m13s bullet bins AP would be fine if you hit the back. as of now all you need to do is make sure you’re facing your enemy port-side and you’re golden, since the only remaining way is to crew snipe, and jap APHE literally doesn’t have enough post pen to kill a guy in an m13.
Honestly it’s not a buff but something it should of had to begin with.
I shouldn’t have to ping pong between cannon and MG, at most the MG guy should shoot himself instead of just sit there.
I guess you are right.
The only vehicle you really need to counter is the M13 though. The M13 is just good at everything outside of survivability and even then the other vehicles aren´t that much better. They should´ve moved the M13 and ta-se up the campaign and just have us start with the M3 and ha-go. It´s not like people use the AA vehicles to actually shoot down planes, they´re usually to busy shooting at everything else.
It´s so much harder to use than in BFV and I don´t see how they can improve it. Vehicles will usually be around Infantry or in the back so you will most likely be spotted by players or bots and instanly killed. Not to mention that the maps aren´t exactly designed in it´s favour with all the opne spaces with mostly visual cover al ot of the time, you´re probably better off planting mines on roads since vehicles often have to stay on the roads. Also you need to aim at critical componets for it to have any effect on a vehicle too. It´s just a meme weapon for faction flavour like the shotgun appearently.
One might wonder then what the point of these vehicles is if they´re just free kills for the enemy team? A noob trap? I´m of the opinion that every unlock should be atleast somewhat useful and jap tanks are some of the worst offenders in this game.
