How to balance p2w Weapons

Being in the early stages of the game, I believe that most premium squads come with weapons (and perks) that are much too strong. When it comes to firearms, these guns come fully upgraded and typically outperform their free fully upgraded counterparts. A good way to balance these guns early in the games release is to balance them to be stronger than the base weapons but slightly worse than the fully upgraded versions of the free weapons. This allows players new to the game to buy weapons that are better than what they could get in their first hundred hours of play. But would allow ftp players to have better weapons given time. As we get farther and farther into the campaign (by that I mean a year or more depending upon campaign unlock length) and many players have gotten more unlocked in the campaign, a new style of premiums should come around. This would be premiums with weapons that are great at fulfilling one role but outside of that role have little use (a good example ftp is the ppsh, its godly at close range but has little use beyond 20 m). These weapons would obviously need to be historical. These weapons would be great for use in specific situations but overall aren’t better than ftp guns since they are limited in their usability. For example, a new soviet smg for the battle of moscow could have a slightly higher damage stat and a similar fire rate as the ppsh, but is limited in that it has a small (20-30 round) magazine. The hard part is trying to find such weapons that would fill this role without getting into paper guns or guns that became real but a higher powered version was turned down (as with the model 1923 Thompson that shot .45 Remington-Thompson).

i agree.

the whole premium squads should be balanced over hall.

i don’t know who though this was going to be a ‘good’ idea in such state.

like, just like war thunder, they are supposed to be somewhat stronger, but a different playstyle. and i’m not making anything up. even in devblogs they said that those squads were supposed to be something different providing new game style.

but as far what i have seen, 30 euros ( or weather other currencies ) for THE definition of pay to win. i mean, this could only be applied to premium squads in moscow as it’s everything automatic weapon in such close quarter. has become umpleyable.

and it’s really sad looking at a huge content being locked out as i wouldn’t enjoy getting killed with just a few burst around every room or corner just because i cannot retaliate.

normandy is a lot different, and a lot better. no wonder why massive players went there.

but speaking for premium squads, my idea still remain the same.

because in it’s current state feels more like

Money > Sake Of Balance

30 bucks for overpowered weapons. and basically almost 4 month of " skip ", as those soldiers came already vet, with perks and weapons.

In Warthunder, most premium planes are either captured planes or different colors of planes in the normal tree.
Similarly, I think premium squads in this game Should be like “Soviet female sniper squads” or “German Mosin-Nagan squads”(their formation is the same as a normal squads), and Should not be given any difference over free squads beyond experience bonuses and time savings on upgrades.

I don’t think a squad of 7 assaulters with powerful weapons and perks is a good idea.

P2W weapons should not exist end, only skins.

Isn’t that what I just suggested?
