“”In short: “”Add Stalingrad maps to moscow (example), and make them on a rotation. 45mins stalingrad next 45 mins moscow maps.
For slight differences in gear a branching pad would develop. E.x the camapign would be the same, but at lets say level 30 they split up. So when you play stalingrad maps you get XP for Stalingrad tree, and when you play moscow you get moscow xp. All the levels past 30 will level up when playing both maps. With this different gear, you wouldnt be able to join a moscow game with stalingrad squads.
“”In longer and more detailed:””
Adding stalingrad maps to moscow would be the best solution since they have similar gear.
So as i said the differing battles would be on rotation. 45 min - moscow, next 45 min - stalingrad maps.
This would allow to play an average of 2 matches per rotation.
“”Differences in equipment “”
You would have 2 tech trees that would be very similar. So you will have 1 moscow squad setup, another stalingrad squad setup. Let me explain:
The unlocks will be the same until level 34 or higher( depends on devs) and then they would split. You play moscow maps - moscow xp, you play stalingrad maps - stalingrad xp. This would only apply when you finish the 34 levels of both corresponding.
This would allow battles to remain historical, and the grind would remain the same.
The guns, equipment that is the same would be there still. Let me explain. You bought a K98k? You got 1 for your stalingrad, and moscow squads. But if you bought lets say an MG42 that was only in stalingrad, you would only get it in stalingrad.
“”To make this more simple imagine this.””
Your 2 different faction squads will be just like CTRL + V. Until LVL34. So you can make them different if youd like. So your stalingrad squads will que stalingrad, moscow squads - moscow. Again the gear you buy if it is available in both campaigns will get shared.
Hope this wasnt too complicated to understand, will probably make a picture of what i mean of the different tech trees.
“”Developers, hope you find something useful here!
Anyone else let me know how you would improve this, change this.””
