a lot more assisting with his engineer. either ammo box, his sandbag blocking boolet, or rally point.

i would guess your engineer points were mostly from building stuff useless stuff, his were mostly from usage of rally points. his vehicle killed was probably plane, while yours were tanks.

He also got a bit more “cap zone kill/assist” than you do… those factor greatly.
How on earth? Dude get a life, you are second place and both of you played well.
I can understand when you get angry about a fighter pilot who ONLY made points by destroying boming runs and gets more points than someone actually playing the game, but this?

The match score works like a date.
If you go on a date bragging about yourself, your achievements, your assets, your endeavours, then your score will not really match your expectations.
But if you go all about hearing and supporting and making the other person feel relevant, then your date score will be high.
This being said, we hope you get better at this game because with that attitude of yours, you’ll never get laid mate.

In addition to the above - number of kills does not represent quality of those kills - head shots at long range get twice the score of “normal” kills, and you don’t know how many of those they’ve done.
Also 8 more cap point defence kills = +120 pts at +15 each.

though tbh, the one time i got a lot of points from engineer things is when i build a sandbag in a position where it’s being assaulted. the point from that racks up rapidly.
iunno dude, it seems more like he’s honestly baffled that he is only at second place and want to know why.
wait, head shot get extra points? huh. i thought i only get those fancy kill icon and the funny noise.

think that every engineer assist counts as a engineering point, so considering his lack of kills, he probably had higher quality of points and that is mostly rally points which give 30 score, while sandbag assists gives you 6 score and constructing something gives you 3 score.

no.
but kills inside and around the zone of the capture area are awarded 30 for base kill and 15 more for defence/atack kill.
