How not to suck in Enlisted?

You can also melee’d the wrongly placed point to avoid your teammates the bothersome circus of switching bots 9 times to make them go through the trap… much faster.

Always best to attack from two directions, flanking beside the main attack force, didnt you went to Army?

no?

this is not a realistic game is a cod type one, you can easily overwhelm the enemy from the fornt bunny hopping firing with smg if your team is decent.

so yes position depends not always you need to flank

yup. exacly that one !

saw me a couple of times, you know me so much already!

In Normandy you always leave, only in Berlin you pull thru. Kinda odd Junge.

Now I understand the Human Wave tactics of the many. Wehrpflicht einführen, sofort.

based

i have more fun in berlin.
dont care much about it mate…
i played berlin for the sake of actually level everything and get as much victories as possible.

normandy alies side was only and still is for campaign xp only right now… dont take it too serious, i ill play normandy alied side, just, to get top level . i have left games without even getting shot because i didnt want that map, for the 30 min or so i had avaiable to play on that day.
i m more interested in having fun in other campaigns.

dont take it too serious, at the end of the day, i know how capable i m playing, but , i couldnt care less if i loose the match trying.
as long as i m fun if i want fun, or i have xp if i m after xp, i m all good.

bruh git off ur high horse. how do u hold up ur head at all? does it even fit thru doors?

Since when do we have 0 recoil spray sniping weapons with red dots and lasers on WW2 guns while snipers run in close do 360 noscope dropshot “git gud m8” trickshots, killstreaks and other types of run&gun stuff? Oh I also forgot about the 6 year olds who met everyone’s moms of course. These are what make cod what it is, haven’t seen any of it yet. On longer ranges you have to pace your shots to be somewhat accurate, while in cod you’d just aim at the guy and just slam your forehead on the LMB until they die. Sure you can get away with some weird stuff in cqb but I haven’t seen anyone snipe me mid bunnyhop with a sniper after doing a 720.

Play aggressive, I’m not a good shooter and I haven’t play FPS game for over 10years, but I got over 90% of games being in 1st place, just by doing head-first charge, and blow tanks up.

As an attacker, always rush to the CP no matter direct charge or flank, just don’t stop except there’s easy target to kill. Build rally points if the first attempt fail.

As a defender, never “defence” the CP behind it, try to place yourself in or front of the CP, remember the principal idea of defending is to maintain the frontline between CP and attackers, not on the CP.

Not in Normandy these few days, the tide is changed. I only lost a mid-join Assault games in Axis out of last 20 games.

One thing you should do defending in squads, is TAKE YOUR BOTS TO THE CAP POINT! (you can do it when attacking too but they r easy kills and will reduce your count faster… situational there)

I often see defenders with 1 guy on the point and a bunch of bots 20-30-40m in cover to the rear - and the attacker is capping because they have 1 extra guy then the defender does - that jsut makes it easy to cap on attack!

Take your bots - keep the count high for your defending side - it literally doesn’t matter if you all die!

This game is more of a Battlefield character than CoD tbh.

Think about what your teammates are thinking and what the enemy is thinking, and adjust accordingly.

Lack of communication doesn’t have to mean lack of coordination.

That too, learn to order your bots. They do much better with directions.

never bring engineers they are useless

well, this one is going to be a long one.
keep in mind that there isn’t a good or a wrong way to play. as long you have fun
and it works as well if you can defend or attack the point.

what i’m about to tell, it’s based on my personal experience and i confidentially say that always works for me making me reach the first place in almost every matches. doesn’t mean everyone should follow what i do, or will grant you victory. i’ll briefly say, the key is to think out of the box, adopt tactic, and whenever you can, outplay your opponents.

although, i feel like i joined late to the party, so i might repeat someone elses words ( i’m sorry ).

but for my experience, in order to be good, it’s fairly simple.
all you need, is a good aim.

weapons and soldiers comes later ( although surely reccomended )

when i play as an attacker, i can consider my self a " lone wolf ".
more precisely, i adopt a doctrine of hit and run, diversion and decoys tactics.

i won’t tell too much about my sekrets :eyes: ( joking ).

it’s fairly simple.
you go in a different direction of everywhere your teammates go ( no, not further back in the spawn unless you are a sniper )

so that you can make use the tactic of diversion and decoy. which plays a major role in separating the defender forces. best to use smokes, so that the enemy players thinks a big push is coming from the flanks.
and from there, you just pick out targets. if you have an enginner, place a rally point in a safe position and charge the enemy from a different flank.

or even better if you have machineguns and smgs, cut enemy reinforcements.
the more you kill there, the less resistance your comrades will have to face when trying to capture the point and the less they will have to lose their battalions for just a few entranced guys.

it’s all about buying time, and make the defenders lose lives attempting to reach the point.

in order to do so, it’s required alot of passive recon and map knowledge until you will be able to strike at the best time.

i hope custom games will allow PVE matches, so it’s going to be perfect to learn maps with actual dummies to study.
( as you have more controls about the maps )

when speaking of defending the points, there are few things that you can do:
place barded wire and alot of sandbags with ammonutions over points.
every singular buildable object of the enginner has it’s purpose and really shines in defence.

remember, if you don’t have enough engineers, chose wisely. ammonutions are important as well as simple sandbags or barded wire.

remember about mines, learn paths of where people “travel” the most.

ambush whenever you can near or a bit further from the objective.
this one is essential to break a few attackers and drain their tickets.
and most important, if you hear a tank, lying down in some bushes or wait behind some wall until they give you side armor. and always aim for the turett ( if you have bombers ) this is more important if you encounters panthers, jumbos, T50s, M14s, Semoventes, Grands, and generally bigger targets with lots of armor and machineguns.

if no one placed rally points, do it your self. or this could cost your game if there are no rally points. randoms aren’t always the most cooperative soldiers ( based on german playerbase experience, which thankfully not everyone is like that, but the majority ) and generally, placing rally points should be done at the start of the match somewhere near the point towards your spawn. it’s never advised to put the rally points toward the enemy spawn for two reasons. the first one, if they capture the point, as soon you spawn, you will have to fight on two fronts. not ideal. and last " issue ", if opponents are near by, no one will be able to spawn. so it’s kinda a waste of resourches and time. time is essential in a game like enlisted. every seconds counts both for attackers and defenders. so speed is a key factor.

speaking of bots, i wanted to cover the part as last because it gets more in depth.

when you are attacking, they should always follow you, and not left behind some corner to take dust away from you.

move from cover to cover, remember, the more stars they have, the more are efficient. and the closer they are, the more respawn and ready for action they are. don’t just fully send them to die on the point that you have to capture. you will just waste tickets due to their path being questionable.
so always remember, you are a squad leader, you must boss them around.
keep in mind formations hold order and their ability to assist you over the battlefield ( heal, build, refill ammo order ). also, remember to mark when you see opponents so that bot will start to look at the V mark and engange if see contacts.

and that is basically it, you keep them near you, you will be good.

in defense it’s another story. personally, i keep the AI on the point ( by pressing X ) and that allows me to go around without my AI that follows me.

this is mainly for the ambush tactic that i spoked about earlier. bots currently engage whatever they see, so it kinda defeat the purpose of ambushing while waiting ( panzerjeager tactics let’s say ).

or, if the frontline is all lost outside the point, i start to entrench my soldiers with the new personal orders ( K key ) and start to place them around corners, behind sandbags, under stairs, and generally somewhere covered so that the soldiers as soon they start enemies they start blasting and deal a blow to the enemy, while i try to support them.

and now, tanking.
when it comes to tank, all you have to do, is what tank were used for.
supporting infantry.
this DOES NOT MEAN you have to RUSH the opponents.
quite the opposite, sit back behind your infantry and strike down mgs, other tanks, and usually huge blob of infantry to make the life of your infantry a bit easier.

you usally perform all the above task in the commander view . because allows you to have a wider area of your surrounding ( outside a few tanks ) unlike the gunner that has a more precise and " zoomed " view.

speaking of the gunner view, you typically use it if you have to make precise shots towards distant targets or precise shots against to tanks.

otherwise, to perform your primary job of supporting infantry, always use the commander view. it’s a life savier. most of the time i can see more compared to the gunner view and therefore sway my gun at the edges that otherwise i wouldn’t be able to see.

speaking of airplanes, you don’t need to spam the chat asking for marks over where to bomb.

use the capture point as rough idea, and keep using the maps for understand the direction of where you are coming.

just a bit of map knowledge, and you’ll start to remember enemy paths and such.
( this is more for bombers a heavy fighters )

weather for normal cruisers or fighters, all you have to do, is to shoot down planes.
to do so, use your flaps ( 1, 2 and sometimes 3 keyboard buttons above your movement keys unless you are from Consoles. i cannot help you there :frowning: ) to turn around quicker and some of them makes you a bit precise without the wobbling ( unless it’s just the FW 190 over normandy that it’s complealty fucked "

as i don’t have unlocked all planes, i don’t know how they all behave. and don’t use the 2/3 flaps to turn or speed, or you’ll break them and spin like a rollercoaster. but that’s where it comes the last piece of training:

Pratice mode.

this one, is quite underrated, it helps you to understand how commands works and how your weapons behave.

also, for tankers you will see tanks that you will face and there, experiment where to shoot.

it’s a bit harder since there are no dummies inside of tanks, but you can always pratice for ammo racks.

and for bombers and airplanes, try get pratice with flaps and understand how and where they can break. at the top, as you will switch flaps, it will tell you which one you are currently using.

i could deep down about submachineguns and machineguns, but i think those are self explanatory.
perhaps when it comes to equipment, understand the enivorement, what you have and therefore position your self.

( as such, if you have bolt action rifles over close quarter, it’s adivised to reposition your self, and use more smgs ( if have any ).

forgot about mortars, but well, you can use them mainly on attacking or defending points when they are contested as they work a perfect " scary tool ". like, you can kill individuals, and supress them due to the explosion effect/system.

for the rest, it’s all about aim pratice.
adjust the parameters if needed according to your own liking sensibility and that is all.

if you have any other questions, just ask.
i hope i could help.
