Lots and lots of people only playing 0-1 games per day - 70,000 or so over the period IIRC

There shouldn’t be more than 25,000 active players daily; it’s impossible for there to be more than that and for the game to receive the little content it has.
because most people play for less than 30 minutes a day, thats the problem not the number of players but play time 25000 active daily players means around 12 500 to 25 000 hours a day played not nearly enough

It’s not the issue of active players but how many of them are paying Gaijin money each update. And that answer is not enough. They want more way more. If we are not feeding them the same money as WT they will never be satisfied.

it is not only problem of paying, but also problem of growth and retention. gaijin recognized that people are not really attracted to this game considering than in data for last year i saw over 1.6 million unique players over 3 months, but game only got 110-140k daily unique users. majority of those players played maybe 1-5 games over those 3 months.
Based on what??
there is no hard connection between numbers playing and content/improvements - the later is purely a company driven decision.
More people might give higher income and hence allow the possibility of more content - but that’s a decision for the company to make for its own reasons.
