Seriously? This is a weapon I just don’t get the BR V rating with. Is the 2.5x scope that powerful?

It’s there because there was no other sniper rifle to put in BR 5 for the US.
When the merge happened, Sniper Garand and M1C had the the exact same stats, yet M1C was already BR5 while sniper garand is 3. After some time, M1C was slightly buffed.
M1C has somewhat better stats than the other BR4 sniper rifle (G43 and SVT 40 scoped) but it still a trully semi-auto compared to the SF sniper like AVS 36 and FG 42 scoped and the scoped assault rifle. (Well actually both scoped FG 42 and scoped assault rifle have mediocre dispersion of 0.2 while M1C has 0.02, it is one of the most accurate weapon in the game)
It is BR5 because there was nothing else available for BR5 in the sniper department but is mostly similar to the BR4 snipers. I wouldn’t consider this a weapon worth using at BR5 anyway.
Also, ingame the scope magnification is actually x5 according to Euthymia’s spreedsheet.

(or Anti Material rifles)

Remember when people said Japan couldnt get BR5 cause of lack of equiptment? Lol
The thing is not BR V material. I’m hoping more weapons get added to replace it.

Its a semi auto clip loaded gun.
Its not better than the M1 Garand besides being a sniper rifle - thus it should obviously be a BR3 gun aswell.

no, just give them the night vision m3 carbine as a br5 sniper and call it a day
To me, they have a lot of weapons whose battle ratings make zero sense.

ZF-4 is actually 8x in game
Yeah, the M3 Carbine I feel should be an event or gold order weapon though due to the battery pack likely taking the place of the backpack slot.
