Yeah, I would always prefer to pick the 57mm T34, because it helps with Soviets biggest weakness at BR3 - being uptiered.
Why do you need a KV1 to fight low BR? They already have a disadvantage, too many people like to be overwhelming against noobs, but pay the price when facing Panther.
I guess most of the time it doesn’t make much of a difference whether or not one more bullet is fired at the enemy.
At least for me, this is the case as long as the MP41R or FG422 fully automatic mode is turned on.
FG and Super C are more like sacrificing damage for more stable shooting ability
Unless their recoil and rate of fire are as bad as those of the Allies
Otherwise there is no reason to increase the damage
Because I still have airplanes and iron fists that can kill level 4 to 5 enemies.
So I prefer the KV1 with reinforced armor
But I also hope that KV1 can add smoke grenades to ensure that it has tactical and cover value.
Well hehe, I still like to use first pattern FG42 in semi auto - its my favourite weapon right now, but it sucks that I can one hit kill Allies but not Soviets. In the end one extra bullet effectively cuts the FG42 dps in half.
My FG habit in Normandy before the merger has not changed yet.
But for most environments, fully automatic shooting is the most reasonable way to fight.
Semi-automatic is only a secondary option for mid- to long-range sniping
It makes absolutely NO SENSE to give interchangeable weapons to the USSR paratroopers and the other factions be damned.

While soviets always seem to get cream of the crop stuff, with really buffed strange stats, or just “unique features” like paratroopers who can change weapons, armour, allies stuff THAT ALLIES DONT GET…
And I’m not talking about the usual bias so absurd that the community must complain about to bring changes to, like pps42 that is br 2 while mp40 and stuff, used to be br3 (that’s such obvious bias here, try to deny it it will be fun) OR beretta with 20 rounds that used to be the counterpart of ppsh41 drum!!! And commieboos said it was perfectly balanced (it was hilarious really)
Or little things like, when the community asked FOR YEARS to have the fg42 series simply start in full auto, like other SF rifles… and commieboos cried about it AND ACTUALLY GOT AVS TO START FULL AUTO BEFORE THE ANNOUNCED PATCH!
