So idk how to say this but aim assist is a little strong. I’m a pc and console player. My short time of playing this game on console was fun but clunky but the movement is not the problem its the aim assist. The aim assist like fortnite or call of duty aim assist (really strong). For a Tac Shooter with some arcade elements it should have aim assist but not as much as it have currently. I feel like it sould get a semi-heavy nerf or remove it. Tell me what u think.

Console players are making heavy use of it by getting on a mounted MG42 and just “scoping” while spraying. Seen them get kills past the fog with it due to aim assist.

I know u can do some cod level stuff with it to. I love aggressive sniping but its so easy on controller with aim assist. Stuff like that should be possible but hard to do.
As a PC player I’ve seen some super sus shots taken by console players that seem very robotic. From my perspective i think it should be toned down or crossplay should be optional.

I don’t why the game doesn’t all ready have a feature to turn cross play off. Its simple and most games with crossplay allow you to disable it.
Btw do u know if the game has sbmm? Most off the time when I play I drop 50+ kill games but after a bit most of the players i play ageist is console.
Right now i think it doesnt have it but the devs will implement one in the future

I don’t know why so many people talk about the aim assist on console. I turned mine off since it’s much more of a hindrance then an aid.
Yes, if you are already aiming at a dude that’s a couple pixels from the middle of the screen it will aim on them when you aim in. But the fact you can’t change how much it slows down the sensitivity makes it suck really bad.

Crossplay in FPS games between PC and console was always a terrible idea. Us PC players use our own ability to aim, while console folk can just snap and kill. The option to banish console people from my matches would be very much appreciated.
Its not always snap and kill like in bf, old cod games (pre mw2019), r6, star was bf, etc. Does are pertly balanced. I just think it needs a semi-heavy nerf.

If the game had the BF4 aim assist that would be perfect.
I watch videos of players killing with steady flowing aiming going through houses etc. Are we playing the same game lol. When I aim it is steady and solid. Only problem soon as I aim on a enemy it is sloppy, pushes off, jumps all over the place and that is with aim assist turned off. I am on xbox console and it just seems aiming generally sucks for me. Worse now than before just changed up to Gewehr auto sniper rifle and it is hard work to hit anything lol. Hoping this will change with upgrades. I believe it has the same scope as the bolt action version but everything seems further away now. I have better luck with standard bolt action rifles. Seems the aim is not true? Pretty much I have tried single shots short burst all same results, crap lol Just part of my game that doesn’t seem to get any better. Any help will be appreciated especially with settings to have a steady non jumpy aim is pretty much the key to playing shooters lol.
I turned the aim assist off after my first few games on Ps5. It was complete ass and actually made it harder to hit your targets than having it turned off.
My aim would constantly end up getting stuck between two enemies when the aim assist was on.
