So I play soviets with battle rating II and see players with t-34-85 or mp43/1. According to new mm it shouldn’t happen. Can anyone explain it or got similar issue?
unfortunately they created it in a way, where you can face your BR +/- 2…so if you have BR 2, you could face BR 1,2,3 & 4 which is totally idiotic…why introducing battle ratings then?
They need to adjust it to same level…if I create a BR 1 squad, i want to fight BR1…not BR3! If its still not enough players for that, fill it up with bots again or do some advertising at your millions of WT players please Gaijin!

Ya, this is nuts, especially when you consider the entire reason for them doing this was to stop people from complaining how unfair it was to face kit that was to high tech for them.
And the new system basically guaranties that will happen…
You shouldn’t be able to fight BR 4, are you sure you don’t have a BR 3 gun somewhere?
While I agree that the way they implemented BR is awful, you are not correct in how it works.
In short, there are two BR ques.
BR 1-2
BR 4-5
BR 3 is supposed to have an equal chance of being matched into either que…but since most players are playing in BR 5, as that is where most of the premium and unique squads are, BR 3 is almost assured to end up in BR 5. So do not worry about being in BR 1 and fighting BR 3 (not that they have much of an advantage, other than flamethrowers)
Basically what this means is that all the existing players will be loading out with either BR 2 or BR 5 gear. As there is little point with loading out with anything in between.
Keep in mind that equipping even a single BR 3 weapon will match you against an entire team of BR 5 players with all the most powerful squads in the game.
This will make progression through tier 3 difficult for new players. Who will either have to deal with being outmatched all the way through tier 3…or will have to stay and grind through tier 3 with a BR 2 loadout …never actually using their tier 3 equipment.
Ya, but it is not working that way, at least for me, I built a BR 1/2 line up to try it out, and was thrown in the deep end against BR 4/5 kit.
Well it does say “try” to match you…it could be there are enough BR 1-2 players…
But maybe double check your BR? Before you laugh into a match, point at your current nations icon in the top center of the screen. There should be a popup window that shows what BR your current loadout is…

The vast majority of players are in BR 5, playing with their premium and unique squads that are all piled in there.
Ideally should I not be facing bot’s then?
I mean if the idea was to level the playing field, there is also no point in using your lower tier kit if you’re going to get tossed into the deep end

You would think so…but it seems filling lobbies is their priority right now…
this whole thing has been a blundered mess…
Perhaps it is the 4-stacks that should get bot matches instead? Or 30 minute queues? If they insist on playing a side that seems to have a massive player advantage, perhaps they shouldn’t be REWARDED with an ability to curbstomp severely undergeared players?
I dont see any matchmaking working. I killed a kv1, a bt7, a t26 flame tank, a t3485 and a is2 today in a single match with kingtiger
