How do you think of this event "Operation Sandstorm"? Also how is the rank and reward system works?

I tried a match 1h ago. And the match’s balance is chaos. Thankfully it ended quickly. I just want to finish the BP task.

I didnt see any special at after match report…

Ranking system?
How’s the rank working? Is the more XP? score? kills? you get the higher rank you are? Or it’s a overall ranking of your performance? like K/D?

Also if some friends decide to group up and use VOIP together, that match’s balance will be total one-sided. As for me, I really do not like group with my friends, because playing freely is less stressful, also time freedom.

I am at 17 minutes in “searching for session” .

So haven’t been able to compete.

If wait time is too long, quit.

I got in after 2 and 5 minute waits, and I was rubber banding the entire time.

Of all campaigns it had to be Tunisia lol

Yeah, same level 7 as allies. No engineer till level 9 made me basically no interest in playing. Plus copy pasta weapons. Maps are good looking but the campaign by itself is boring - one sided games 90%. I think they’ve noticed that this campaign ain’t that popular among the players as they’ve expected to be so now they made this to make it popular for a short time.

It’s a disaster so far, my god. First games are traumatizing.

I can’t recall any other game in which balance was so bad and now on top of that in the operation when some players leave you are basically doomed since they will not be replaced.
Also can we talk about people with pads? There really should be some balance so it wouldn’t be like 3 pads in a team vs 0.

Tunisia is basically Berlin v2.

i can be considered some sort of competitive player as i do enjoy competition, but in other games, not this one that was proclaimed to be realistic and casual. and i guess i’m really saturated from competitive pvp ( i guess burned out cuz of valorant, R6, cs and overwatch ). and for be a beta, it’s definitely not the right time to think about comps thingies in my honest opinion.

either way, can’t play it because of Tunisia it self. i haven’t touched that campaign yet outside the open matches with no progression. so it’s kinda a " fault " on my end that i didn’t took advantage of the xps for the first weeks to reach a certain ammoun of xps. but currently, i’m not really interestred in tunisia. ( not because i have to grind for the 4th time one campaign ) but because i still have to finish the other campaigns.

from a technical point, it’s just a ““playlist”” of tunisia destruction with players that will do anything to win for.
so, crouch spam, prone spam, bhop, faster medkits, automatic weapons meta and campers everywhere.
which again, as i used to play competitive games, i wouldn’t mind it, but i wouldn’t make a competitive game in the first place, when half of the mechanics are barely working ( such as airplanes & Tank models and every other issues already well known across this forum ).

which brings me to the next point.
usually, competitive games are balanced in terms of gameplay and equipment in order to let the players face equal if not similar opponents.
in enlisted, this will be and it’s currently impossible to achieve. someone at DW or gaijin explains me how can you compare a german based on their equipment and skills to an american player ( or the other way around for that matter )? when there are clearly substancial differences.
like the weapons and vehicles, most of them, are simply not equal nor even comparable to the opponent weapons. and on top of that, just the enivorement.
tell me how much fun can it be to face full sweats with super ultra equipment ending up using the cheapest tactic. is that how competitive should be? prone spamming left and right? bunny hopping the shit out of everyone? it’s so flawed and not so thought out well this whole concept to be brought in enlisted that i think I’m speechless.

it’s like making a cake without half ingredients. yes you can, but it’s going to be shite.
and this is how i see the whole thing about it ( yes, it’s not ““out”” yet as a whole, but knowing how things goes arounds, it’s just my “”""“prediction”"""" . )

P.S. i’m not trying to say " DW / Gaijin BAD ueu ewewe11!!!1 " and shit like that.
although, it is too earlier to even think about competitive matches when the state of the game is still a bit… i’d just say " rough ". i’d rather had to play some sort of pvp/pve match with new experimental mechanic, or new experiments on ai to see what players really like and/or see if the players wants them in the first place… ( like, coop climbing with AIs to reach higher positions similar to war face that requires one unit or more players… perhaps Tank/Airplanes AI or even just new gamemodes that are different from involving a point a and b )

so yeah, that’s it.
just my opinion, and i wish to be wrong. but we’ll see.

Personally it’s just an event I have no interest in. Like many others I got attracted to this game because it is (was) casual, wich is the only possible type of gameplay for me recently, work schedule being just crazy.

I don’t really care about stats and such. If I were I’d have to stop using 75% of the soldiers class Enlisted offers to play competitively using almost only a mix of assaulters and lmg rambos, things that sweaty tryhards use constantly to brag being in the top of the leaderboard. There’d be no place for fighter pilots (too unrewarding xp wise) no place for snipers (sporadic kills, often outside of cap zone… so less xp) no place for mortarmen… etc. Even the real MVP class, the Engineer, would not be advised because building fortifications and supporting your team means sacrificing a bit of xp you’d get as a mindless smg grunt.

Nah. I play Enlisted for the fun of it, to experiment with different class and have a blast with each, regardless of xp. I could not care less about leaderboards or competion. eheh, like if being good at videogames was something prestigious (outside of Korea)

This pretty much but axis.

Now I’m thinking… is this their so called plan for giving players more silver orders after this massacre of the update lol

First impression: It takes so much waiting time to play Allied, why? Because people don’t want to play Axis. When you enable the “join any team” it will be an instant-no wait-ready to play with you playing as Axis which as I expected: total massacre. Yes, it is Berlin all over again. But I am so tired to ask for balancing here and balancing there again and again… Dev should have known it, and they should have the formula since they have already experienced 3 campaigns before… I will just back to Moscow, freezing my ass there…

lately updates, news, events, changes in the game, they are all purely random, it almost seems like they wake up in the morning and say “let’s do this” and the next morning “I changed my mind let’s do this” frankly I don’t see enlisted live to see 1.0, we have the new COD, the new BF, the new HALO (which is free to play), new battle royale from ubisoft, the new mobile battlefield (free to play), other shooters coming out like the day before, destiny 2 that is preparing to renew the free to play, how will enlisted to survive all of them if after 1 week from the update that destroyed the progression to free to player (and therefore to potential buyers of battlepass and premium ) What the developers care about are ranked games, tell me how?

They specificly named silver troop orders as something special to be gained, seems like it.

When does the rank update? I’ve played several matches it still says I havent played lol

meanwhile ppl don’t want to accept britain is OP because they want to believe it’s all their skill

because sometimes it is the skills issue, like normandy for example; most people don’t call the whole axis side on normandy “OP” because most of us recognize that it is a skills issue

Yes, because at the very first time when the Normandy campaign started, no skill needed to play as Allied. It was a sure win. But when the dev started to balance things, the Allied community shocked because apparently they need skill to win. I was there and played both. I enjoyed the ‘laziness’ of Allied and the ‘hardship’ of Axis.

and what do you mean by that? since the only large difference between CBT normandy and OBT normandy was the playerbase with it being a fair fight then OBT hit where we saw the massive drop in axis capability since 2 capable axis members was all that was needed for the axis to win
