I don’t know, but I usually get this badge when I use the engineer intensively, especially in destruction mode, where there are a lot of traps and barriers you made around the cap, as well placing MG nest in a good spot that is also used by other members of your team ect. I’ve never gotten the best tactics badge without using engineers. Otherwise, I just get an all-round warrior badge.

You got it: you stayed inside the cap… and made points in it. Building fortifications in a cap you defend gives you bonus xp and counts for that award :slight_smile:

Also, you can get it through engineer points as well, the way it is calculated is it takes the sum of the score you get from engineer points and points you got from capturing points, then compares everyone through that and awards the medal. On occasion, you can outscore people who cap points with just engineer points, or if no one captures the first point then it will default to whoever has the most engineer points, but only if you reach a certain threshold of points.
