How do I raise the level of my soldiers?

Is it no longer possible to level up with experience?
Do I have to use gold or the tickets I get with my Battle Pass to raise my soldier’s level?

First u have to unlock the required rank from the upgrade tree. Different class rank (I,II,III,IV) also need to to be unlocked first to upgrade their respective tier and then after that u can get experience from battle to level him up or orders / gold to instant level the soldiers.
