In Battle of Volomlask it is a 50 player cap in Lone Fighters, but somehow they made it so that when you spawn in, you keep your entire squad, basically making it 25v25 squads. How do I do this with my own mod?

It’s a secret, you can’t do it casually.
I won’t reveal how it was made, because it would lead some careless modders to abuse such techniques, and you’d likely end up with laggy games because of your carelessness, not the game’s problems.
In order to achieve large-scale battles, there are some prerequisites. Mainly performance.
If you don’t focus on conserving in-game performance, your game will be laggy and unplayable.
I won’t expose such a method because I totally doubt that anyone else takes as much care to control and save server load and performance as I do.
I’ve noticed with many custom mods that even with 10v10 or less, the server goes into low framerate mode and faces high load.
I did a lot of experimenting to keep the server load within an acceptable range and allow the game to run relatively smoothly.
They official developers know exactly how they can do it. And we are not official developers.
In the end it was just an experiment, to prove that the developers gave us a good base for the game.
My mod is just for example, this game has good potential and disproves with facts those claims that the game cannot support large-scale battles.
This mod is a testament to the fact that the game can technically support larger scale battles.
I fully hope to share my mod’s source code blk files at some opportune moment in the future.
But now is not the right time, because there are still many players who do not know the feasibility of large-scale battles.

If your mod is a showcase for now, then it ought to be and hopefully will be a stepping stone into the future of the rest of the modding community and maybe the whole game. Otherwise it has no place if the devs take no action on that facet.
