Pre-placed entities on scene. BLKs added to the mission by importing will show up as generated entities and will not save any changes made to them.

so do i just place the gun before the game starts?

No. These guns are already placed before the game loads the scene.

I don’t recall plasma guns being placed on the moon map by default. Is this on the moon map?

no is on some ussr map, idk the name
