How do Gold weapon orders work?

I got a gold weapon order from the breaking dead event and I’m not sure how it works. If I buy a BR5 weapon with it, will my rating increase to BR5? (I am currently BR2). Or do I need to wait until I’m BR5. Thanks

works same as a common weapon

if you buy a br5 weapon and you are br2 you will be automatically BR5

If you do not equip the gold weapon you will stop being BR5 and will return to the BR established by your weapons (br2 in your case)

BR5 fights in BR3-5 battles

Ok, thanks. So I’m guessing I should wait to spend that gold order.

If you put the gun on one of your soldiers, that squad will become BR V and you will queue for High Tier (III-V)
If you buy it, and don’t use it then nothing will happen. I recommend not using it till you have squads to support it
