The Mod38 to me is as close as it gets, that thing is bonkers good for a sniper rifle.

well technically since it was possible to fire the MG34 in single fire, as well as it having a much slower fire rate than what we have in the game, I would say a scope on one of these is not too ridiculous.
gameplay wise… well I guess it would be “more useful” than the Sniper FG42 - which is kinda useless now.
